I have been going here since I moved to Dallas, on my last visit the staff scheduled my appointment at 8am on a Sunday. Upon arrival our tennis was not set up with the ball machine as requested and paid for. I was confronted by a man that very nice and friendly, he stated they were closed until 10am, I proceed to show him my reservation for 8am. He then ran inside to get the ball machine. I told him I would set the machine up myself. After finally getting everything together and set up, me and my daughter began playing. Shortly after my daughter went outside the court fence to get our ball, and a black guy with a bald head approached her. She ran back inside the fence scared and frightened stating he yelled at her asked her why she was here! By the time I arrived to the other side of the fence the guy was gone to a different court. Upon seeing him later I asked him what and why did you approach my daughter and NOT an adult? He stated he didn’t know why we were there. I stated to him that he should always approach an adult for information like that and announce that you’re a staff member, because he terrible my daughter. Long story short this man has gotten membership suspended and I’m just realizing. I will be taking legal action, he was clear being discriminatory and his aggressive behavior towards my daughter is...
Read moreI am deeply disappointed with the experience my wife had at The Oak Creek Tennis Center. She is a beginner and was excited to start learning, but unfortunately, her experience has been frustrating from the start.
My wife purchased a 5-punch pass ($110) in late November, but due to the Monday classes consistently booking up and bad weather cancellations, she has only been able to attend 2 classes. The punch pass expires in just 5 weeks, and with the limited availability of classes, she hasn’t been able to fully use what she paid for. Every week, she attempts to register, but spots fill up almost immediately, which makes it very difficult for new members like her to participate.
Additionally, during her first visit, the front desk staff directed her to an intermediate class despite her clearly stating she was a beginner. The instructor then singled her out for not being up to speed and made her feel uncomfortable, which was discouraging for someone just starting out.
Overall, we are very unhappy with how my wife has been treated. She is eager to learn and enjoy tennis, but her experience at Oak Creek has been a disappointment. I would not recommend this center to beginners based on...
Read moreExtremely poor management and customer service. I purchased a one-month ball machine package, and just a few days later the machine broke down. They never informed me — I had to call them myself to find out. They said they’d email me when it’s fixed and extend my package by the number of days it was unavailable. No email was ever sent, and no extension was given.
Worse, they once charged me $21 for a “no-show” despite me showing up. I only ever reserve two days at a time, and I attend every session I book. The front desk refused to listen and insisted I missed it without providing any proof. The manager backed up their staff blindly without investigating and refused a refund.
Check-in procedures are also a joke — the front desk is often missing or busy chatting, not paying attention to players coming in. Overall, the management is chaotic, unprofessional, and shows complete disregard for customer experience. They charge customers unfairly and never take responsibility. Avoid this place unless you want to be overcharged and disrespected. I have deleted my account and will never coming...
