Two unfortunate predecessors (Romeo pizza) went belly up, and this was the 3rd pizza joint opened at this spot. I ordered a supreme. Striking similarity to Randy's pizza. Pizza dough, za box, size, price.... They don't seem to care much about marketing. There were no big grand opening events, signs, or special promotions in-store or online. I've been a loyal customer of Randy's, so I do get rewards and coupons regularly from them. If the quality of Lazza pizza is superior, I may think about switching since this place is closer to my home but that is not the case from my first order. Another turnaway is they have a surcharge for online orders. It's 2025. I don't go to places charging fees for online orders.

I’m genuinely confused by the many great reviews of Lazza, particularly of its crispy crust. First timers so didn’t know it was take out only. I may have missed that on their website. Take out pizza is never crispy. I ordered a slice with meatballs and a slice of Sicilian. Though we paid for a slice, we got a cheese slice, which we didn’t realize until we got home. The second pic is me trying to hold the pizza — so far away from crispy idk what to say. It’s currently in a 500 degree oven to see if it recovers. My grandma was Napolitana. She’s rolling in her grave over this slice.

We are so happy to have Lazza Pizza close to home! We ordered the Margarita and the Bologna pizzas, both New Haven style. Delicious! The crust was thin and crispy and light and the flavors were so good! Tip: When we get takeout pizza we always throw it on a hot griddle for a minute to get the crust back to the fresh hot crispiness as intended. We were so excited about these transformer pizza boxes that can be broken down and folded into smaller boxes to save leftovers, but then it was so good that we ate everything and had no leftovers 😆. Super, yummy, we will definitely be back!

I’ve lived in Cary for almost 8 years now, originally coming from Brooklyn, New York—and let me be clear: my standards for pizza are high. Every time I move to a new place, the first thing I search for is a solid pizza spot. And in this part of West Cary, I’ve tried all the so-called “New York-style” pizza joints. Most of them talk the talk, but don’t deliver.

Lazza is different. This place actually gets it right.

The crust? On point. The sauce? Seasoned and balanced. The overall execution? Chef’s kiss.

Not only is the pizza legit, but the service is phenomenal—friendly, fast, and consistent. The menu is thoughtfully put together, with prices that don’t make you feel like you’re getting hustled just to enjoy a slice.

There’s another pizza spot just down the road that I used to go to—decent food, but the service was always trash. Lazza, on the other hand, gives you both great food and excellent customer service.

It’s only been open a few weeks and I’ve already been there eight times (no exaggeration). Lazza has officially become my go-to pizza spot, and as long as I’m living in this area, I’m not going...

Listen up folks. When it comes to fast Italian fare, there is a new Sherriff in town and his name is Chef Carlo Nicolazza. About the food in a minute, but a couple of other things first.

Walking into this new establishment, I was delighted by how clean, fresh and new it was. Then I was greeted by a very friendly lady. Since I am a junkie for good Italian food, I gave her the third degree on what was made in house and the list was long! Sauce, dough, bread crumbs, hand cut veal, meatballs. After this discussion, I was eager to try out the food, and I was not disappointed.

The pizza was legit NY with a firm but foldable crust. Toppings were excellent and properly portioned. The veal parm sub was fantastic. The veal was tender with just enough breading to give it flavor and hold it together without overpowering the meat. The sub roll was soft, but not soggy and was perfectly toasted when the cheese was melted.

Bottom line, this is now my go-to spot for pizza and the...

I just saved this place to my favorites. I know exactly where it is but it was a necessity. The New Haven style crust is so perfectly thin, but it might need to be cooked just a little extra in the center. It has a big flop. The crust is amazing. The cheese is amazing. I had meatballs on my half and they had more flavor than anywhere else. I would actually recommend this over Johnny's Pizza and Randy's Pizza. I actually have no need to go to either of those two locations now. I didn't take pictures because there's nothing left. If you love Ranch on your pizza, get theirs. Even my man, who's from Jersey, dipped his pizza. In the ranch. And he's never done that. He thought it was amazing. Technically, Lazza got a lot of free advertising from us. We walked the pizza to Lowe's and had a beer. All the customers in the Beer Den asked where it came from. We told them we highly...
