Deborah's Attic — Local services in Casey

My wife and I with our son visited Deborah's Attic for the 2nd time (the first during the summer) and came away with both great purchases and a strong sense that we'll be returning soon to their shop and to Casey. The community has made a concerted effort to improve their outlook in an organic and word-of-mouth fashion and the Biggest-things-in-the-world attractions are the icing on the cake. What's drawing us to come back is the optimistic spirit of the people there as represented by their caring merchants. We traveled to Casey, IL last year on vacation and found this lovely shop. The owner was so very helpful and have us great tips on how to experience the city well. She gave us history of the city, too. We were driving through Casey on our way home this year and made a point to stop at this shop again. There had been 2 exhibits under maintenance last year and we knew she would know the scoop! She pointed us to the one that was back in service and an update on the other. This was a great place to stop and shop if you are checking out Casey! They have a great selection of antiques and similar things to look at, and it's the home of the giant spinning top. The layout of the store makes for a miniature adventure, too.

Only criticism is that the cashier (presumably Deborah herself?) can be a bit too chatty, but she's nice as can be.
