Kim's Closet — Local services in Casper

Whereas I always loved shopping at Kim's Closet (good quality clothes for good prices), I would absolutely NOT recommend taking your clothes to them. I've done it twice and both times I got burned both times. I took clothes into the one by Albertson's a few years ago (ball gown and high quality jewelry that I definitely should have gotten back some decent money from) and they never contacted me, so I went in and all my items had been sold but they conveniently couldn't find anything about me or my items on record. So not only was I out on my high quality items but the money from them as well. Then recently I took items in to them again; I decided to go to the other location on CY instead and figured that a different location with different workers should be fine, after all that had been a long time ago. Wrong. I took a ton of clothes and shoes in to them, but the exact same thing happened again. So while they might have great clothes and sell them for a good price, those clothes are not come...

What a horrible experience. I called to ask if I need an appointment to put 3 items on consignment. I was told no at the CY store and to bring them in. I did, then was told by an employee there, it's by appointment only. She called Kim who was at the Hilltop store and then told me I could go over there. So, I drive over there and walk in, Kim is on the floor sorting 4 garbage bags of clothes. Very snotty. She told me to hold up the leather jackets I had and immediately said no. Then proceeded to belittle and berate in front of other customers. She tried to claim that these Wilson Leather coats were outdated and "I should just take them to Rescued Treasures and be done with them". Funny..if you look up Wilson Leather coats with Thinsulate, this style is sold for $245. I didn't mind her saying no, it's her business. But, the rude, brash garbage that she spewed was uncalled for. So, once again, Shop Casper First, needs to tell our local business...

We dropped a box of clothes off here 6 months ago. We were told she would have a look at them and get back to us on what she wanted to sell. She stopped taking our calls and won't return our calls either. It's not to big a deal to us, just some clothes, but if you actually wanna hear back after dropping off your items, go somewhere else. Sounds like...
