Frida’s House Mexican Food Casper — Restaurant in Casper

We were really excited to try Frida's after reading the reviews on here. We are from out of town and hungry for some good Mexican after a long day of travel. My family of four went on a Tuesday night. Our server was super friendly, but messed up our drink order right off the bat. No biggie though. We ordered and waited about 45 minutes for our food to arrive even though only one other couple was ordering around the same time. My veggie enchilada looked as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time and the sauce and cheese were all dried up. The filling was one piece of broccoli, one zuccini slice, and a whole bunch of soggy onions and green peppers. The beans on the side were soupy and I didn't even try the rice. My husband said he only ate his burrito because he was starving, and my oldest daughter said her cheese quessidilla was dry as well. She normally scarfs up quesdillas, but only took two bites it was so dry. The only one who liked the food was my youngest, who ordered a chicken burrito off the kids menu. I wish I could have given a better review, but I felt I should be honest. Overall we waited a very long time for food that was sub-par. For the four of us to eat it cost almost 70 dollars and we only had watered down sodas as a beverage. Would...

We arrived in WY from TN on a long road trip looking for good food. We stumbled on Frida’s house after looking at a bajillion different options. It’s tough to find, but it’s in the center of a small complex, nestled between a desert shop and a coffee shop. Parking is tough to find, but if you have a smaller vehicle you may luck out with parking behind the building.

We ordered Al Pastor tacos and a Big Fajitas Burrito. Both options were hot arriving at the table, presented well on the plate, and tasted FANTASTIC. The menu has tons of options for any diet or preference.

The service was good. They were very busy when we arrived, but the staff were pleasant. In my experience, warm welcomes aren’t common when restaurants are super busy so this was awesome. The order arrived quickly to the table as well.

I don't like to give bad reviews 😕 😒. There were 3 tables with people at them including my table of 4. One table already had their lunch. It took 10 minutes for the waiter to take our order. I ordered a combo plate with a taco 🌮 and an enchilada both were supposed to be ground beef. The taco 🌮 was good. I took 1 bite of the enchilada and discovered it was pork 🤨. I told the waiter that it was incorrect and he said oh I'll tell them. He didn't bring me another enchilada and he didn't take anything off the bill for their mistake 🙄😒. My granddaughter ordered a burrito with no cheese and she received hers with cheese on it ! Surprise surprise 😮.
