Update: the owner responded only after my poor review. Apparently the item could not be returned because it was on sale (so what?), the COVID quarantine occurred, and because I didn’t return it within ten days. Interestingly, I bought it the DAY BEFORE they closed the store due to quarantine. I don’t know how she expects someone to return an item if her store is closed. Vanessa, I did read the receipt. Maybe you want to have all the details on a situation before you make a comment.
Ugh. I wish I could give this place a higher rating but their return and exchanges practices are severely lacking. I bought a dance pole for a pole fitness class. When I got the item home I read the box and noticed my ceilings were too high to make it fit. The box was UNOPENED with the seals still on it. NO part of this item had been touched and I had the receipt within the time frame they allow returns. The staff refused to do a refund or an exchange. I asked them to call the owner to ask, and all I was told was “no”. I can understand having a strict no returns policy for intimate items and opened items, but this was ludicrous. Read moreFirst, entering the store the woman (later to find out the manager "Stacey") looked back when she heard the door and then turned quickly around to put on her mask...not even acknowledging that I entered the store. I was looking for a specific toy and asked if they had in store...She responded "We do not have that in the store"...So I asked what do you have that is comparable... she just pointed behind her and said.."well...what you see over there"...No help , did not stand, nothing...I went over to browse what was over there asked another question which I again received a brief 1 word response..."NO"...I walked out of the store with no goodbye or have a nice day from Stacey...Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere where the worker was extremely pleasant and helpful...It is sad this woman displayed such bad customer service, because we were also in the store earlier this week where the YOUNG woman working was extremely helpful and friendly...We will not be returning to this store due to unfriendly, non-helpful customer service...
Read moreHas a nice selection, a little pricey. Only thing was the women checking me out was not very friendly. Made me feel weird for asking to see the functionality of a toy I was interested in. She doesnt let you touch or look at the product much, which is a little disheartening especially when you are willing to spend the money on an expensive product. For a person of color I don't think this is a very welcoming place.
EDIT: I'm so upset I don't even know what to do. The woman at the counter mislead me, lied to me that they sell out of this product all the time, and it's the worst thing I have purchased ever. Found the product online for much lower prices and terrible reviews. I shouldn't have trusted the woman who made me uncomfortable. And now I'm stuck with a $90.00 toys that will...
