Out of all of my experiences with purchasing a vehicle. This purchase at Maxwell in Castroville Texas was the worst. We have purchased many used autos from different dealerships and we have never had any problems. I paid cash for the truck for my son and it has not been 20 days since purchase and the truck has broken down and left my son on foot. I have called my sales man Luis and he notified me that he would have the Sales Manager call me back since it’s something he could not handle. Luis reached out by text to see if I had been contacted yet. Obviously he did notify the manager but til this day I have not been contacted. Seems like they just made their sale and now they are not available to reach out back to me. I have tried to call and I’m on hold for a long time. I have left messages with receptionist and voice mail. I would really just like my 30 day return policy since I have paid on a truck that is not working for my son. I live 2/12 hours away so it’s not like I could just take it to their shop. It’s funny that they can’t seem to call me back for this but i was immediately contacted by them after my truck purchase but only to offer auto insurance since Maxwell also owns an auto insurance company. I had really considered giving them a chance but now that I am not getting the service that I need I’m glad that I will not purchase a auto insurance policy with them. I will not refer or recommend any other person to this dealership. I also tried to sell them a auto and was only asked for the information of the vehicle but was not reached back to give the offer since they do purchase autos. I guess they only worry about making money out of you and not really helping you out. Worst service ever don’t let them trick you because once sold you will never get the help and...
Read moreVery surprised with how nice/clean, calm/relaxing this place was while I got the truck serviced (scheduled “Ram Care” maintenance). With the Ram Care program, the first 4 oil changes, tire rotations, and 27-point inspections, for free. Appointment was at 1130 on a Tuesday; the drive there from 1604 was nice change of pace (chill country side of highway 90). I pulled in to the dealership and was shocked that there was no wait (there wasn’t a line of vehicles leading to the service bay like other SA Ram dealerships. I parked and Nathan came right out to ask how he could help me. I let him know I had an appointment for the Ram Care 1st service stuff; he knew exactly what I needed, took down some vehicle info and then got me comfortable in their waiting area. The waiting area was the nicest waiting area I’ve ever been in (so new/clean, very nice layout, aesthetics, furniture, a desk-bar area to tele-work from while you wait… a digital coffee/espresso type machine (complementary), a low level clear glass fridge stocked with cold waters and soft drinks (complementary), then they had the typical vending machines (take card). Then they had multiple TVs/seating areas throughout the dealership, with different things to watch (I even found a TV that had motocross on). I went for a walk around the vehicle lot and it was also nice, clean, not overcrowded with vehicles (or those “pesky sales associates”, jk); and I didn’t even over heat since it’s windy out there in the country (nice location for a dealership). In summary, I showed up at 1130 for an oil change, tire rotation, and 27-point inspection… and was out of there by 1300 with $0 cost. I was a happy customer under Nathan’s care. Thanks for the experience and for taking care of me/my truck Nathan and Nyle Maxwell CDJR in...
Read more*WARNING * They will take your time and steal your money! There are plenty of other dealerships nearby. Don't go here!!! They will string you along make you jump through hoops you didn't have to. And run your credit without permission. It happened to my mom, she went there and did not purchase anything. 3 weeks later she is getting notifications that her credit is being ran again. When she called the dealership they said it was mistakenly ran again. It was "mistakenly" ran 8 times without her permission.
I wish I would have known that prior to going, I wouldn't have had my time waisted or money stolen!!! I was looking for a Jeep and had already been to other dealers. I told them what I wanted, and they had me sitting in their lobby all day saying, "Just a few more minutes." "I just need to check something." They were looking for a jeep that fit my budget. I finally told them I had to leave, and they called me the next day, saying they had one and would call me later once it was at the dealership. I received a phone call at 6:30, expecting me to drop everything and race to the dealership before closing. I told them no and called them the next day. I called several times with no call backs, and when I said I was walking away from the deal, they all of a sudden could call me back. I asked for my deposit back, and they refused, said it was non refundable. I explained that that was not disclosed to me, and I did not sign anything stating it was non refundable. I was told I would get my deposit back and when I did not receive it, I called them, and the phone would just ring or go straight to VM. One time, it picked up and hung up. Now, they won't return or...
