Before I start I'll say this, so it can make sense. I'm a 40 yoa black male. Last night I went to the Tractor Supply store located in Castroville to purchase two stall mats which they keep locked up just in front of the store. It was just before closing and it was sprinkling outside. When I approached the register I told the clerk and the manager that I needed two stall mats. The manager (Caucasian female) said it's too dark outside and we can't sale them right now. Mind you that there's lights in front of the store. I also parked my car in front with my headlights on shining directly on the mats. I even told her my lights are on and shining directly on the mats. Her 2nd excuse was it's raining outside and I don't have a raincoat. It was just sprinkling at the time. I kept looking at her, waiting for her to say, "just kidding". But she was serious. I then (woosah) myself, with calm composure and walked out, laughing and SMH. My wife who is Hispanic went in the store after I told her what happened. She asked the manager why she couldn't sale me the mats, and her 3rd excuse to her was because of safety reasons. WOW. Only if this b$$$$ knew what I did for a living.    Read moreAfter having tried for MONTHS to get an answer, from the TSC thatâs 2 miles from my house, about a special order of feed; I contacted Castroville tsc to speak with someone here. I still donât know if I can get the feed, but within 27 minutes Jenny called me back to let me know that sheâs put the order in and it may or may not ship. I feel confident that if I cannot get the feed through tractor supply she will at least contact me.
I have rented a trailer from this location and everyone was very kind and helpful. This location feels more like a small local company rather than corporate tractor supply like the Helotes location.
I highly recommend this location if you require any assistance...

We are new to the area & went into the store to get propane and she rolled her eyes and snarled about having to help us. She also acted like I was an idiot when I told her that my 7 gal propane tank was 7 gallons. I donât know if it was an off day for her, but customer service is an extremely important thing for any business owner & this was an awful first impression of Tractor Supply for me.
Sucks because we get about 14 gal of propane every week & my boyfriend was excited to go buy some new tools and work clothes from there, but now we will most definitely be taking our...
