S. International Market — Local services in Cedar Rapids

I was excited to try out this new international grocery store in CR. They have a location in Waterloo as well. It was pretty fun going through all their goodies. My husband was in a hurry so I’ll need to come back to browse more :) lots of fresh fruit and veggies you can’t find around Eastern Iowa easily. The viral mango ice cream is sold here and other tasty treats. Durian items, jack fruit, mochi, boba items, ramen, pho, etc. it was very clean. We were eager to visit S. International Market, having never tasted rambutan. A friend recommended it, and we decided to give it a try. In addition to rambutan, we purchased a dragon fruit, Korean corn dogs, and delectable peach ice cream. Each item we sampled was exceptional. Rambutan offers numerous health benefits, so we intend to return to purchase more and explore other offerings. The store maintained a pristine and organized environment. This market has lots of fresh and frozen meats and vegetables. There is a large selection of many items such as rice, drinks snacks, sea food, sauces and spices.
