HUGE shoutout to Mike for exceptional work on my 1997 hilux surf. If you’re looking for a honest shop that’s not only fair with pricing but takes pride in their work, Mr. Audio is the place to go.

Mike listened to exactly what I wanted and exceeded expectations. I had him do a head unit, all new speakers and a custom sub box as I did not want to lose trunk space. Everything looks great and sounds even better, can’t recommend him enough and would not hesitate to take another vehicle to him. All the wires etc were also routed very nicely.

Overall if you want a shop that will do it right, take it to Mike. Good shops like him are hard to come by.

Edit: Wanted some more bass while still having the option for usable trunk space. Had Mike put in a 12” that I can take out when needed and switch between the two subs. Again he was amazing to work with! He always goes...

My used car had blown speakers and was sounding pretty terrible. Mike @ MR Audio swapped out my front and rear speakers and added a rear subwoofer. He also installed a 5 channel amplifier and aftermarket head unit with Bluetooth so I could talk hands-free. It sounds great, no more crackling, crystal clear mids and highs! I would go back to Mike again for other installation needs. He listened to what I wanted and did not try to sell me on junk I don't need. With the subwoofer, I told him I did not want to lose space in my trunk. My car is small and I drive kids around and grocery shop with it. It was important to me to not make it inconvenient. Mike, the owner, is such a pleasure to work with. He’s super nice, very knowledgeable, and is clearly passionate about what he does.

I previously had a 12” DD Audio sub in a ported box I made myself. It wasn’t pretty because I didn’t carpet or paint it. I called Mike (MR Audio) and explained that I wanted a sealed box and was thinking about getting a new sub as well. He made me a sealed box and stained it and it looks amazing! He hooked everything back up himself and even tuned my amp for me, the correct way with digital tools that physically show if the signal is clipping or anything.

I’ll have to update my review when I get a picture of the sub/box in my car because it looks daaaaang sexy. For now I just have what he sent me when he finished it.
