If you live in the Champaign-Urbana area and are looking for a dentist of the highest quality then I implore you to make Q Dental your one and only choice! Dr. Kelvin Jung and his staff are the definition of professionalism! Andrea and Nikki, a couple of the hygienists there, are absolute godsends! They both are highly skilled in their field of work and are always a delight to be around.

My schedule changes periodically throughout the week so there have been times where I've had to reschedule appointments last minute and not only were they conpletely understanding about it but they were also very accommodating! Whether it was communicating via email, phone, or text, they always make sure to keep you up-to-date and stay in touch!

I have had the displeasure of being a patient at two other dental offices here in Champaign and let me tell you neither one of them come close to the quality of care that I have received while being a patient of Dr. Jung's! I just recently had a couple of teeth extracted and in all my years of going to the dentist I have never felt so calm and relaxed as I do under his care. He understood that I had anxiety about having dental work done due to bad past experiences, one of which he was correcting, and he gave me peace of mind by thoroughly explaining the process to me and making me feel like I was in control as my choices as opposed to past dentists who have pressured me into decisions that I later regretted.

Everyone was very friendly and professional. The hygienist conveyed all my concerns accurately to the dentist so I felt heard. I was also invited to ask lots of questions.

The office is very handicapped accessible, modern, and clean. Instead of using clipboards to complete forms, patient’s are handed an iPad at the reception desk. That was impressive.

I wore special glasses to protect my eyes from the hygienist’s and dentist’s lights. They didn’t use the large old movable lamps that come with the chair.

The hygienist (not the receptionist at the front desk) scheduled an appointment for me to have a night guard made. They do not use the old method of putting a tray of goop in your mouth to make a mold. Instead they will scan me and make a night guard.

The hygienist also scheduled my 6 month check up and cleaning appointment.

The receptionist at the check out desk gave me a receipt and an estimate for the night guard with 50% off. Also a code to give my insurance company to see what they will cover.

The only disappointment I had was that the armrests on the examination chair did not work. We tried to lift them up with no success. I had to put my thumbs in my waist band so that my arms didn’t hang loose in the air while I was reclining to have my teeth cleaned and examined. I have no cartilage in my left shoulder so it’s important to support it. My thumbs and fingers started hurting from hanging on. Please fix the arms on the patient dental chair.

I can't say enough good things about Q Dental! From the initial phone call with Cathy, I was met with kindness and understanding for the situation I was in regarding my teeth. The scheduling process was a breeze, and was offered an appointment the following day- wow!

At the front desk, I was greeted with smiling faces, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I immediately felt at ease! They have a very easy and streamlined process to complete paperwork.

I started my appointment with Andrea, who is extremely knowledgeable and great at explaining exactly what treatments are necessary, and why. She was very thorough and answered all questions that I had. Nobody likes getting numb- but I have to say, it was practically painless. She does an incredible job!

I did have an extraction and implant placement, which I was a little nervous about, but now I have no idea why! Everything went so smoothly. Dr. Jung is very kind, professional, and thorough. His calm demeanor really puts you at ease! His assistant, Thais, is absolutely incredible, too. She made sure that I was completely comfortable, before/during/after the procedure. They use state-of-the-art equipment, and I have to say it made my healing process so easy! I could not have asked for a better experience.

As somebody who previously had dental anxiety, I always feel SO comfortable coming into the office. I highly recommend Dr. Jung...
