My family of four went on a Wednesday for their 1.25 games and .50 show rental. It was a small bowling alley that was kept clean. However, one of the biggest things I look at while rating a place is the staff. When we walked in I asked if they would have lanes available and the lady looked at the lanes and back at me like I was stupid. Yes I could see there were open lanes but I could also see that they had a couple of leagues there and wanted to make sure more were not coming in.
They put us on lane 2. We sat down at a table that was closer to the lanes. When a guy came to put up our bumpers he put up 3. So I asked him if he wanted us to switch to 3. He was very rude telling me that we sat at the wrong table so I guess we had to switch lanes.
Later on there was a family that had gotten their ball stuck a few times. They had a younger child that you could tell was learning to bowl. The same guy kept going to get the ball that had gotten stuck in the gutter and after a couple times he came back and said loud enough for the whole bowling alley to hear " Who keeps getting their ball stuck?" Dad explains his son and the worker looks at his son and says "Well maybe you need to get a lighter ball" I know it's not a big bowling alley but over the people talking/laughing and the noise of the balls/pins. I should not have been able to hear that. He embarrassed a family and a child.
The price and cleanliness was great but the staff needs a lot of work on customer service. I'll pay a lite extra somewhere else next time and get...
Read moreSo, my cousin and I have been bowling here several times and had no issues. Last night a group of 6 of us decided to have a night of cosmic bowling. My boyfriend and I bought ourselves drinks at the bar where we showed our ID's and got the yellow wristbands. My friend and I (who did not order any alcohol) then went to the counter to order food where the older man accused us of trying to buy drinks without ID's. I told him it wasn't us and his statement was "My bartenders don't lie". He then announces over the loud speaker that anyone trying to buy alcohol without an ID would be escorted out by police. We ignored it and kept bowling. One of his workers stood at the counter and glared at our group for a good thirty minutes. I took a drink of my Redd's and then that worker told the older man that I was drinking alcohol. The older man then came to our table and told me he needed to see my ID. I was embarrassed and humiliated. We will NEVER be back. If the man would have apologized for embarrassing us and maybe if he didnt make such a big deal when we did nothing wrong, I wouldn't...
Read moreI've been coming here for a few weeks now. Most of the time I'm the only one in the ally at opening. Since it's summer time and my children don't have school, I decided to bring them. Since we have limited time and my children use bumpers still, I asked for 2 lanes. I was told I can't have two lanes because they only do that for 7 or more people. For context, the ally was empty, no one was there, no morning leagues either. So instead of paying for 3 kids plus shoes for 3 games, then myself for 4 games, equaling 13 games plus 3 shoes. I was told we all had to be on one lane. Which would have knocked our day to 2 games for 4 persons plus 3 shoes, equaling 8 games plus 3 shoes. This policy seems redeculious to me. They would lose 5 games worth of income in an already empty ally. Instead, they lost all 13 games plus 3 shoes for this policy. It's a shame because I was going to do this 2 or 3 days a week all summer. I dont know if I'm going to even come back at all...
