Honestly this Subway is a depressing experience. I used to manage 3 (extremely busy) Subway stores in the Akron area while I was in college, so I understand that things can get frustrating but this place has the WORST customer service I've encountered..and they are NO WHERE NEAR as busy as most locations....so there is no excuse for how they act. I live close so I frequent this store regularly...but I have driven to other locations in order to avoid the depressing workers here. I'm writing this review (after many awful experiences) in hopes of the ownership and management to read this to see what is actually going on this store and to understand how your workers are treating YOUR CUSTOMERS. This isn't about one instance in particular...but multiple visits to this location. Also I have had bad experiences with day crew AND the night crew. They sigh and complain to other workers through the whole ordering experience (ABOUT PEOPLES ORDERS, LIKE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM)... I actually had a girl roll her eyes at me here when I asked for my chicken to be heated prior to toasting (only because they don't toast it long enough to heat the meat, leaving a cold middle in the chicken, eww). I always receive attitude when I make this request. Being a part of this company for 9 awesome years, I know there are recommended times for each type of sandwich that are from corporate and it's obvious they do not follow any guidelines and just press the same button every time, for every sandwich. They talk about inappropriate "stories" right on the line while we can all hear them (and honestly I get embarrassed for them)... there is a prep area...take the convos there as we don't care to hear about your boy/friend problems/ crazy weekend. I have never once been greeted with a smile here (and if you don't think that makes a difference, go to the one in Cortland and compare your experience). With any order...simple or complicated... I always feel as though I am bothering them just being there... it's not worth to me to go to this location anymore and give my hard earned money. Even though I live maybe 3 minutes down the road, I will forever drive out of my way for a better experience to ANY other location than this one. I don't know where all the negative attitudes stem from (management, a couple crew members that are cancers) but I don't have to have it in my life... I mean all you do is make a freaking sandwich...it's not...
Read moreWorst subway around. A bunch of rude employees who could care less about customer service. Every time I go in there I deal with an attitude by at least one of the employees. Tonight we gave the place the benefit of the doubt and went and got dinner. Keep in mind at this time we are the only people in the subway, there shouldn't have been any issues. We ordered two subs one of them had stale bread which we had found out when we had got home I also was not given the side of dressing that I was charged for, I also had bought a fountain drink that was charged to me none of the employees had given me a cup to get my fountain drink. When I had called them to explain the situation and request my refund for two subs and a fountain drink that I was not given the so-called manager told me that she could not refund me because she would have to refund me the whole order which was what I was asking in the first place I was not just wanting a refund of the stale sub and the fountain drink. She very clearly by the tone of voice did not care to help me and when I called her out on that she laughed at me. I have never dealt with such rude people in a fast food setting. They clearly need to go get some customer service training and learn how to properly deal with people when they made mistakes and a customer asks very politely if they could fix that mistake. Read moreI understand all too well about these places having youngens working but the unorganization was unbelievable!! SOOOO much happened during our visit that I don't believe it will all fit here. (Do my best) "Lightly toasted was BURNT". As my sandwich was left in the oven while the next 2 customers were waited on . ALL the cookies were thrown all together on a tray in the bun oven. Even another customer said something to the effect of "just looking at how them cookies are all together" the kid replies "yeah I didn't feel like separating them" then I was looked at strangely by all 3 of the KIDS working when I piped up "ALLERGIES". Was asked "are you ready to pay" as my sandwich was STILL in the oven. (We had 2 of the 3 sandwiches done at this point) My sandwich is pulled out, I asked "that's lightly toasted" the kid squeezed and crumbled the bun and says "yes".. WHAT?? "I don't want that, it's burnt" his reply "well what do you want?"... After waiting 10 mins for the one sandwich I didn't want nothing, paid for the other 2 sandwiches and left. Will NEVER visit this location again when I visit this town and neither will my family...
