I moved here with the intention of staying for more than 4 years, but this turned out to be the beginning of a nightmare. Since it was a newly opened place, I understood there would be many trial and error issues. If I were to explain everything that has happened, it would take dozens of pages, as my experience has been absolutely horrible. I have lost my mental and physical health due to serious pain and suffering in order to survive here. After moving in, I requested maintenance for dozens of issues. For the first two weeks after moving in, I couldn’t even unpack and had to keep my things piled up in my room. For one week, no one came to address the issues, and when I followed up, I was told the issues had already been fixed. This cycle continued, and after repeating this process several times, maintenance finally arrived after two weeks. They fixed a few minor issues and then said they would return at 4 p.m. But after that, I never saw that person again. When I requested repairs again, a different person would come and say they would return the next day in the afternoon, and I would spend the entire day waiting. For just one issue, they kept avoiding the problems and lying. I became so angry that I went to the office to speak to someone, and only then did one person come and try to fix the issues. The noise was not just normal noise; it was a deafening sound that lasted until 5 a.m. The sound of exercise equipment being dropped would echo throughout the day, and it was so bad that I had to go to the hospital because my heart rate became irregular. I couldn’t sleep and kept waking up in the middle of the night. Due to lack of sleep, I had to rub my eyes, and red spots (like allergies) appeared around my eyes. On weekends, the party noise that started early in the evening... the sound of everyone jumping around in the living room upstairs made us leave the home while we were eating dinner. We returned to my apartment after midnight, but the music, loud noises, and running around continued until dawn, driving me crazy. I called and left messages, but no one responded. Every morning, I was furious, suffering from severe mental distress After midnight, they would use the washing machine and dryer (even though they were already making noise during the day), and just a few days ago, I woke up at 3 a.m. due to an incredibly loud noise. It was the sound of a vacuum cleaner. Living beneath people who engage in such unreasonable behavior makes it impossible for someone with common sense to live here. I repeatedly complained about this abnormal noise, the unbearable sounds, and all this suffering by sending over 30 emails to the apartment office.I recorded the loud, war-like noises in my aprtment every week and even attached the recordings in my emails.Every time I spoke to someone, they would tell me to send an email, but no one ever replied, nor did they take the issue seriously. Some employees even mocked me for being a "difficult" person. I sent messages about the parties, the loud noise, and the stomping, but no one ever contacted me. I had no choice but to return home, but the loud noises and music continued throughout the night. I called the police due to the excessive noise. The police told me that the apartment manager could fine them, move them to the first floor, or have them leave. However, I had already spoken to the apartment management every week, and they would just tell me that the units are random and I never know who my neighbors will be. In fact, they seemed to be annoyed by my constant complaints. My health deteriorated from lack of sleep, irregular heartbeats, headaches, allergies, and extreme stress. Mentally, I was at my breaking point. Still, I hoped the management would take action or do something to address the tenants causing significant problems, but nothing changed. The apartment management didn’t seem to care or want to make improvements, and I realized I could no longer live here, so I...
Read moreI’m honestly shocked that this place doesn’t have more negative reviews. I’ve lived here since August 2024, and it has been nothing but a headache. Many of these positive reviews seem to be from people who either just toured or haven’t lived here long. Yes, the building is new, the amenities look great, and the units are modern—but don’t be fooled. There are major underlying issues that make living here a nightmare.
Maintenance Issues From the moment I moved in, I’ve had a string of maintenance problems. My washer and dryer didn’t work, I experienced plumbing issues, and my exterior doors and windows weren’t properly sealed, allowing water to leak in during storms. In the dead of winter, my HVAC stopped working due to an electrical issue, and I was left without heat for several days in freezing temperatures. When maintenance finally fixed it, they told me my thermostat needed to be replaced—but never came back to do it.
The maintenance team usually eventually responds to requests, but they are generally ineffective. Instead of actually fixing problems, they apply temporary solutions, meaning the same issues resurface, requiring multiple visits. It’s exhausting.
Unhelpful and Disorganized Staff While the leasing office staff are generally friendly, they are completely unhelpful. Calling the office is pointless—no one ever answers the phone, no matter how many times you try. You have to go in person to get any response. Even then, they rarely have clear answers, and if you ask multiple staff members the same question, you’ll get inconsistent responses.
Their lack of attention to detail is also evident throughout the building. The gym is always dirty with no wipes to clean equipment, the public restrooms often lack soap, and the grills and common areas are filthy. When I moved in, I found nails and sharp objects scattered around the parking garage—an absolute hazard. There was also drywall and construction debris left lying around.
Security Concerns & Mismanagement Security is another serious concern. Some of the scanners to enter the building don’t even require a fob (like the P1 entrance in the parking garage), meaning anyone can walk in. That’s unacceptable.
The parking garage gate was broken for most of my time here, and when they finally issued residents stickers to open it, they instructed us to place them in the wrong spot—so the gate still wouldn’t work. This mistake delayed the fix even further and forced them to reissue new stickers.
When I moved in, I didn’t even have a mailbox. The staff had no idea where my mail was being delivered. I was expecting important documents, and they were completely clueless.
Power Outage Nightmare The most recent disaster has been a prolonged power outage. As of yesterday, the majority of the building was without power for nearly 36 hours due to an issue with a breaker in the building. This is an isolated issue with this complex, not the surrounding area. The outage has caused serious safety concerns, financial losses (spoiled food, etc.), and extreme inconvenience for residents.
The staff’s response? Nothing. No concessions, no assistance—just a recommendation to file renters’ insurance claims, which is useless for most residents since deductibles are too high. Even worse, the senior property manager, Sophia Lawson, was not even on-site during the outage. At times, the leasing office was completely unattended during the outage (see photo). That level of neglect is unacceptable.
Final Verdict I strongly advise against living here. The building may look nice on the surface, but it is poorly built, mismanaged, and plagued with maintenance, security, and service failures. Save yourself the frustration—there are better...

Link calyx is an illusion of luxury. When you first move in everything seems very new and fresh. But since after moving in June of 2024, after a few months you see that there’s trash in the hallways, the amenities are poorly maintained, the study rooms are covered in construction dust and trash. Everything is scuffed up. And you pay for features that are yet to come which was the parking for a parking garage that did not have not have an operational gate for the longest time.
I waited three months to get a hole in the roof of my bathroom fixed. The job took 15 minutes and when the work was completed, the wrong paint color was used. I requested a partial refund or concession for having a hole above my showerhead, dropping dirty water and dust while I showered. In which the front desk staff promised would get done, but has yet to appear on my monthly rent. But, they are requesting that I confirm my renewal. This hole also may have had a part to play in my respiratory infections, which only started after the hole was made, not to mention the issues with humidity which caused mold to grow in my window, and I can only hope that was all the mold. The "solution" was a dehumidifier that was given to me was also completely filthy and covered in dirt and dust. Its disgusting that I have to use this machine as it throws other people's dust into my apartment.
From my personal experience, the studio rooms are paper thin, you will hear the neighbors above you and the neighbors beside you, and don’t get me started with the build quality of the rooms, as you’ll know when your upstairs neighbor is awake by the light fixtures and door, shaking with their steps. Even my roof sprinkler fell apart due to the shitty build quality. Noise is a major issue for many of the tenants I spoke with and they all complain about the same things like noise from neighbors, the doors being very thin. Getting a room on the interior of the complex opens you up to loud neighbors using the lounge area in the middle past 1 am on a weekday, and good luck calling on site police to handle it, because it goes straight to voicemail.
As more recent reviews stated, parts of the building were without power for over a day and a half. And they tell us to use our renters insurance to cover the cost of lost groceries. How's about instead of placing a burden on us to cover for your mistakes, JUST LOWER THE RENT!
Build quality for other in unit materials is also on the low end, there are dents in the door frame since before I moved in, and my floor was completely scuffed from I can only assume the crew moving appliances, and the things in my bathroom were all loose.
The price you pay for a studio is not justifiable by any means, the people that own these apartments seem to have a deep misunderstanding of the clients that live in this area which is primarily students. And when I call to get some help or to talk with the manager about renewal, I don't want to be offered margaritas as a...
