I wish I could post 0 stars for this place! We bought a $900 bosch dishwasher from sears in mason city. We installed it and right away we had issues. Sears service center sent t-j services out to fix it for us. The first time they came, an entire week after I called, the guy said it wasn't leveled correctly, "fixed" it and left. I ran a load of wash, and it did the same thing. I called t-j back and they came and looked again. The guy then said we installed it incorrectly, did something with a bracket on the back of the washer, did something with wiring, told me it was "fixed" and that he needed a check for $85 since these weren't warranty issues. Stupidly, I wrote them a check. I ran another load of dishes, and it does the same thing, stops in the middle of the cycle and gives an error code. I called t-j back the next morning and they can't come out because that technician is out of town. I asked them not to cash my check until we figure out for sure that there wasn't something wrong with the washer that was covered under warranty. They told me they wouldn't cash the check. I never heard from t-j again after that but THEY CASHED MY CHECK THE VERY NEXT DAY! Finally I call sears service back and they send a sears direct technician out. The level of competence, service, and a general pleasant personality was night and day. The Sears tech found a leak in the tub, a flaw from the factory, and absolutely a warranty issue. While this second tech was here, we found out that sears had actually already paid t-j to come and fix the washer. They got paid twice for the same shoddy job, which amounts to fraud in my book.
