My kid did not want an actual birthday party but did want to spend an hour or two bowling with her friends and at least have cake and ice cream and let them sing Happy Birthday. We were able to do everything except they would not let us bring the cake inside. The guy tried to say that he told me on the phone that I couldn't bring in anything from outside but I promise you he did not I have phone recordings of every conversation I EVER have. So we had to do cake out in the car real quick before we could start the bowling sesh. After we went back inside the kids had a blast. As we were cleaning up and loading the car one of the employees decided they were going to throw away the bottle of water and a bottle of soda that we had just bought from their establishment and the two leftover pieces of cake that I had in a tupperware with a glad wrap over just so it wouldn't completely melt in the car. You can't leave anything laying around for even a second. We ended up staying an extra almost hour just to let our kids play the one crappy video game that they could find that actually worked, while we waited for 1 of the parents to come and get their child. My issue is I never would have gotten the type of cake that I got had I had known up front that we weren't supposed to bring cake in. I didn't want my kids 14th birthday being ruined in anyway so we made the best of...
Read moreMe and my husbands took our kids there late Saturday afternoon Labor Day weekend for a little family fun. The alley seemed dated and was not very clean. We bowled 2 games and as a family together we had a fun time. Our assigned lane kept messing up and not loading pins correctly and we had to reset it numerous times starting in the second game. As far as concessions we ordered sweet tea to drink and there was only enough for the 3 we ordered and the employee assured us he would be making more. When we went back again for refills and to order a pizza they we still out of tea. The pizza took an extremely long time to make and serve and it was not because it was busy at the time. We decided to stay and bowl a third game and the lane continued to give us problems stopping completely after about 20 resets during 4 frames. We reported it twice, and finally on the third trip to the counter requested to switch lanes which should have been offered to us in the beginning and the game started over instead of it being carried over. The prices were very reasonable to bowl but concessions were...
Read moreWill be visiting again soon! Lots of lanes, food and Jerry's pro shop that we highly recommend. We were there during a busy tournament and it was very nice to see the community encouraging and supporting the teen bowling teams. We were very happy Jerry was able to see us on short notice to have a ball drilled. As busy as it was he still took the time needed to get the job done. He definitely has alot of experience and you can tell he is truly passionate for the sport. Not only did he drill the ball but also engraved it.
A cool retro bowling atmosphere, they offer 24 wood lanes, and not the newest system as we have experienced in other places but it is for sure all anyone really needs, there's no need for flashy selfie boards when we are just there to bowl! We had no technical problems of any kind and had a great time. Staff was nice and helpful, prices were fair for 2 games. We didn't get to try the food but it smelled good. Place is kept clean and bathrooms were clean, there was also a bathroom counter area that doubles as a changing table for babies so that is...
