Went for a drive in movie. Summer means it takes quite awhile for it to get dark, so expect to not be able to see the screen at all for the first 20-30 minutes of the movie. Also have a plan for listening to the audio which is broadcast on FM. Will you be turning your car off? Will you leave it running the whole time? The makeshift setup puts a few trees, the projection trailer in prime spots. So the screen is oddly at an angle for most of the cars. Expect to lean to the right for a few hours. Once darkness falls, you figure out your new right facing body posture, you figure out how to turn off your day running lights, and how to override your cars system into yes please still run the AC, it's quite enjoyable. I did not stay for the double feature as sitting oddly to the right for 5 hours did not seem necessary. But if the tiny nuisances mentioned above were figured out then you're left with a fun experience, the ability to laugh as loud as you want, openly being able to comment out loud, bringing your own snacks and drinks, answering a quick text, controlling your own temperature and volume. It seems like a great opportunity to grow and...
Read moreThe interior is beyond stunning and has an intimate feel. During the COVID-19 restrictions, they have instituted a drive in theater by using the back of the building next door. It was an amazing and innovative way for them to stay in business while also keeping with distancing guidelines. This is a highly creative independent theatre and I commend them tremendously. They offer concessions, beer, wine, and mixed drinks up to a certain point during the films. We personally came for a double drive in featuring "Sonic The Hedgehog" and the main show, "Jurassic Park." We got dinner at one of several restaurants in the same plaza, Zia Tacoria. The food there was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Overall - This theatre is an absolute gem in the Lowcountry and as a local myself, that isn't a title I feel that just any...

The theaters within are nice and cozy. It was always very clean inside. No issues with audio or video. All of my movie-going experiences have been tremendous and I never knew how much I would enjoy drinking a beer...
