Today was my second time in, and I made a purchase of an adorable beach haute couture type sweater for my mom. She loves one of a kind items, and this top is that for sure. I love the vibe in this store. All the locals know one another and were chatting it up. I love the small town vibe of C-town. The store really packs it in! The variety of pieces in this store is astonishing! The jewelry collection is very impressive. So many beautiful pieces, it takes a few trips around the store to take it all in. If you are looking for a unique piece of art as home decor, this is the place! Be aware if you are coming in with youngsters as there are a lot of breakables. We love going to Simple Pleasures when we visit Charlestown. The owners do an amazing job of merchandising and there are always new beautiful items to see during every visit. When my late Aunt saw the store for the first time she said “I could buy one of everything in here.” We’ve bought many unique high quality items here as a family over the years. We love the store and the owners have always been warm and kind to us. I’m sorry for the 80 year old woman who fell, very glad that she wasn’t injured. My friend Kathy and I were just driving through Charlestown after seeing the Watch Hill Lighthouse and came up on this wonderful, quaint and very interesting shop! Amelia was the young lady working there and couldn't have been nicer. There are so many different things to see there, most of them are beach themed and that is very appropriate.
