South County Sound and Video — Local services in Charlestown

I just want to share my experiences with South County Sound and Video. Mark Gagnon and his crew installed a top notch high end TV, internet and sound system in the home we were renovating on Block Island. This involved integrating the system between 3 buildings. The system came out great and I could even integrate my ‘Alexa’ into the system so I can tell ‘her ‘ just what I want to hear and on what part of the system - WAY COOL Later I had some additional equipment I wanted to add the the system and Omoro came over and spent a long time due to a glitch in the Direct TV software. Mark has preformed well for us on two installations. Almost two years ago, he replaced our A/V system with a new TV, Heos, and High speed Internet boosters. We we were pretty sure we were gong to move so the system was designed to be portable. Last fall we moved and the system was portable and everything worked out. Also installed three nest cameras. The warranty issues with the Nest equipment were handled in a timely fashion. As of this writing, we made some changes on the equipment location due to remodeling of our new location and Mark has contacted us to follow through to make sure everything is up to speed. Terrible experience! Only cares about money. Treated me like a criminal that wouldn’t pay. Once paid didn’t finish the job. Had to pay another company to help me cost $1350. Arrogant beyond belief. Does t appreciate your business. like he’s so important. Doesn’t respond to emails and phone calls, doesn’t answer questions. Just leaves when he was done. Left me hanging! System still not working right. Sold obsolete remote control no one deals with it. Had to pay another company $3000 to change to a remote with current technology. Has lost out on two more high end home I have on water that I’m installing dedicated theater rooms to seat...
