Editing review from recent visit 9/23: Right off the bat, you can tell that this business is no longer managed/owned by the same people from earlier in 2023. The warehousewas cut in half, there really wasn’t any new inventory and it was hard to track down anyone to talk to you about pricing and checkout. I really enjoyed the thrill of wandering around, poking around piles, interacting with the woman at the front, etc… but the energy of the place has just completely changed. When I asked one of the gentleman working why they had shut down half of the warehouse, he just simply said that business wasn’t good. It always seems super busy previously, and I’m not sure how reducing the space, but not getting any new items was going to help.
I live in Washington DC, and make it a point to stop here whenever I’m in the area, but I really have no motivation to come here again.
Early 2023: All of the reviews that left one or two stars genuinely expected a full price experience for a fourth of what they would pay for at Target.
This warehouse was everything I dreamed of and more. You could wander up and down the aisles, push aside boxes to find hidden treasures, and just when you thought you had seen everything, you would find another hidden pile of goodies in a distant corner. I swear I had to make four laps of the place before I was confident that I had seen everything.
I ended up, leaving with three brand new lamps, an air purifier, to throw pillows and a giant cat scratcher pirate ship for under $300 (the price the air purifier normally would be). On top of this being a bargain, the owners sister, who assisted me with check out, was genuinely the sweetest. If you are looking for a bargain, and a fun afternoon activity, definitely...
Read moreOverall, the place has nice quality items. That’s not the problem. The problem is the owner or manger is greedy and doesn’t have the business mind to run the place correctly. The literal name of the warehouse is all cheap and new. Meaning these items are slightly defective, open box or returned items. He tries to sell the items as if they’re brand new. The difference between actually buying at Target and warehouse is only $5 maybe $20. Logically for that “bargain” it’s better to buy brand new to have warranties and the ability to return it.
Use to be able to negotiate with the lady that used to run it, every time you go in you can never find anybody to help you with prices as most prices aren’t labeled so it’s like he just makes them up off the top of his head. It used to be a great place to pick up nice little finds but the guy that runs it has ruined it for me personally. Everything is basically original price maybe a few...
Read moreThe inventory is constantly changing so finding something good is hit-and-miss.
Don't follow the directions Google gives you for the store. As others have stated on here and takes you to a set of apartments. I normally just find it on Google and then get directions to something near it.
It is literally behind a warehouse, if you think you're in the wrong place just keep driving because it's around behind where the warehouse is located.
You can find good deals here but you kind of have to dig for them. Double check that anything you're getting is in good working order. I've definitely bought things and gotten them home to realize they were more damage than I had originally seen.
It's not a bad place and I really appreciate some of the deals I've...
