Don't you hate when there are add-ons that you don't ask for, but are slipped in? There was a warranty that we were charged for on the receipt that our flex spending wouldn't pick up. No big deal--we tried to get a refund and were told that, even if it was THEIR FAULT, and even if they obtained written authorization from us, there was not a way for them to process a credit card return over the phone due to the potential for fraud. (Ironic, that, since they potentially fraudulently added a charge onto our account.) Since their office is far out of the way and the traffic around there is awful, I asked for a check to be processed. That was fine, I was told, but would take 4-6 weeks (and, when asked to note "rush" on it, they said it wouldn't make any difference because it was coming from the corporate office--a corporate office that must be in the wilds of a country that technology and transportation forgot because it takes 4-6 weeks to get a single piece of paper back from there). I also asked if I was able to speak to someone at corporate, but was told that there was no one that I could speak to there (I guess the telephone fees to a wild country would be astronomical since they probably don't have telephone poles or the internet available, so maybe I should be thanking them).
But seriously, a refund for a charge that we didn't ask for and, because we don't want to have to drive to the other side of town and brave the crazy traffic, we have to wait 4-6 weeks, and there's no one higher than the store manager to talk to? Nope. I asked her if we could get his vision records back because we are NOT going there again.
To be fair, the ladies I spoke to were friendly and courteous, but I was told it was their âcorporate policy.â I have worked in retail before, and when itâs a customer service issue for something that was the companyâs fault? We would bend over backwards to make it right. We were also told NEVER to throw policy in the customerâs face because that is just really bad customer service. At MyEyeDr. (which is not my eye doctor...
Read moremy initial visit back in Feb/17 was great, fast forward to 8/8/17 my prescription placed in Feb was incorrect so i went in for a new eye exam the end of JULY come to find out that i needed to redo my lenses to a lower prescription. Well let's say I've been without glasses for 2 weeks, had multiple migraines due to me straining my vision and yet no one seems to rush my order. i called last week and was told that someone messed up my order and that would be the reason for the long wait and that they had no way to rush my order( how am i at fault that someone did't do their job correctly?) i call this morning to ask for my order and was placed on hold my RENEE for 15 mins and i ended the call and called back and RENEE answered the call again denied she placed me on hold for (15 MIN) Why would i lie and had your name from the first call??? Her excuse was i don't work the front desk!!! Okay you should be able to locate an order... She stated she went to check my tray to see if my order came in and said " Oh its not here, they will text you when it's ready" no tracking available no ETA available..... so another day straining my eyes due to the lack of professionalism with this office. Needless to say come my next appointment i will not be using this location. someone needs to review the staff they have here. 10/9/17 as of today I've filed a complaint against this company with BBB due to the lack of professionalism this...
Read moreWill NEVER use this corporate eye doctor AGAIN and would never recommend them! Takes alot for me to post a Google review, but their negligent not to mention outright theft brings me to WARN OTHERS not to use this practice! The Oasis contacts, caused and still causes profuse eye drainage and I can't even wear them ONE DAY without the drainage becoming worse to the point it's crusting in my eyes the next morning. There has been complaints for SEVERAL YEARS about this and if there was a warning they never even advised me there could be! Aside from the damage and negligence, they never called me to come in and pick up the second box of 12, and told me that when Corporate overtook the location in April 2021, THEY THREW MY $90.00,CONTACT LENS PURCHASE IN THE TRASH WITHOUT CALLING ME! I WASN'T EVEN ADVISED THEY HAD COME IN! When I last spoke to someone on their corporate line they advised me to go into the practice and they would check my eyes! Went in yesterday, no eye exam nor reimbursement for the contact lens they threw away! Whether or not the company took over ownership after the Coronavirus hit has nothing to do with Corporate still being responsible for the actions of individual locations! My total loss is about $200.00 plus the eye exam that gave me whatever trial pair of contacts they had in the office and my box of 12 was probably used for others! As I said BEWARE and do yourselves a favor and...
