¡¡¡TEN CUIDADO!!! I came here a few weeks ago w/ my partner, we were charged 16-18ish dollars each for their Chimis that are priced at 13 dollars on uber eats & door dash. Then they had the AUDACITY to give me the smallest Chimi I’ve seen in my life that is about HALF the size of a authentic Dominican Chimi (Si eres dominicano, tu sabes exactamente de qué estoy hablando). They used crinkle cut fires (that we never ordered nor did they tell us it was a combo, chimis typically don’t come as “combos”) just to fill the plate for skimping on the portion. Now in regards to the quality the chimi was dry but mid overall. The natural juices were very good but pricey for a small portion (unless I was ripped off on the juice too). As a Dominican native, I can confidently say this restaurant truly captures the essence of authentic flavors. The quality and taste of their dishes are outstanding. I’ve had the pleasure of trying their club sandwich, Dominican chimichurri with pork, Yaroa with beef and fries, and chicharrón served with fried green plantains. To top it all off, their tamarind juice is simply exquisite.
