The last time I visited this place I booked a massage for myself and my friend. When I arrived at my appointment, my appointment was canceled and my friend offered me to take his appointment and I declined since it was my friend's first time visiting the facility. When my friend returned from his massage, he stated that the young lady that performed his massage, took 15 minutes to start the massage. She left the room, told him to get undressed then didn't return until 15 minutes later. He also advised when she performed the massage, she sat down the whole time. I called the facility the next day to advised of my friend's service and I received a lot of excuses from a young lady stating that the person that performed my friend's massage was expecting and it was ok for her to sit down (although understood), there wasn't a reason for her to take 15 minutes to start the massage and to not provide him with a friendly service. I called back the next day to speak to a male and he was a little more understanding of my complaint and offered to write my name down for a free massage. I called today inquire about my free massage, no one asked for my name or provided their name during the conversation. I was advised that they do not provide free massages then he asked me several questions. I advised him that if he didn't care to ask for my name or is stating that they would never provide a free massage then why ask additional questions. He asked was there anything else he could assist with and I stated no and released the call. I've been going to this place for years and it was only because the massages have been good for the price, but they are somewhat unprofessional and extremely rude in general. I've seen a guy roll his eyes after an elderly woman stated that she was excited for her massage. I've also seen them offer massages to each other while telling customers on the phone that they are booked. Avoid this place...
Read moreJust finished my 8 months for this school. Now I am going into externship and it is STRESSFUL. Today, I had a conversation with the dean of the school. She is not pleasant to talk to. My whole 8 months I have never EVER been in contact, ever sent to her office during my enrollment in this program for MA (medical assistant). I walked into her office with a nice presence as soon as she saw my face she immediately was on attack mode for me. She addressed an issue about me to my instructor, which my instructor which I love came to me professionally. I asked her is it ok if I can talk to the dean about the issue she has with me and she gave me permission. I walked in and asked the dean can I have a moment of her time, she did not smile, she looked angry and annoyed that even came to her. I was just trying to have a adult professional conversation but it was back & forth simply because the information she gave to my instructor was false. As soon the argument was going back & forth she told me to get out her office and go back to the class and I said ok and was heading to my class, she yells my name out and tells me to come back and sit down so I did respectfully but was still wondering why. She called my instructor, and told her I need to sent home, EVEN WHEN I LISTENED TO HER TO GO BACK TO MY CLASS. The dean communication and the way she handles her & I situation was unprofessional. She never gives me a chance, it is immediately sends me home. Overall the school is great, just the Dean and the way she handles situation is just not right. Does not give chances and immediately is over & done. Has she said “I’ am not dealing with you this or your big attitude”. While I’m trying to explain to...
Read moreI am valedictorian of my class at Southeastern. I was able to accomplish that because I was able to focus on my studies and not worry about the financial responsibility while in school. What I love is that no matter your financial circumstance, they will help you in every way possible and they do not stress you about your bill while you are in school. They understand the reason you are there is to be able to earn more. If you don't succeed, you can't get a well paying job and take care of the bill. In addition to that, the instructors are really intelligent and great at what they do. They will provide every resource they have to ensure you have what you need to be successful in each individual class as well as on the licencing exam. I wish undergraduate school was like this. At Southeastern, they don't hold your hand but they are always there to assist if you need it. Lastly, the faculty has made a lifelong commitment to ensure you stay employed. It doesn't matter how long since you graduated, if you need a job, they will help you find resources to renew your licence or credentials and secure a job. This is definitely something career services at other institutions are lacking. They have no obligation to help people get jobs. So, you pay a fortune to go to their school and they don't try to help you find employment. Perhaps it has gotten better since I was in undergrad. But if I had this support in undergrad, I am sure my career path would have been different. I think Southeastern is a great choice if you want to go to a school that puts your success as...
