I was not helped when I told the front desk about my experience with roaches at this property on Thursday morning 4/21/2024 I arrived Friday 3/15/2024 and saw a couple of small ones on Sunday 3/17/2024. I didn't think much of it and kept it moving... On Wednesday night 3/23/2024 I have videos and pictures of a bigger roach appearing in my bathroom. I had food on the counter and when I went to move the box, there was a swarm of roaches that scattered everywhere. Then I noticed that the roaches weren't just on the food...they were in the beds and on the floor as well. There is definitely an infestation there. I have ptsd from roaches and it triggered me. My biggest flaw was not checking the google reviews before I got there but I was in a rush from being kicked out of a so called friends house that I didn't follow my own rules of checking google reviews. I would of never came to this hotel. On the the reviews it states that Roaches are everywhere... comment after comment after comment. By the time I realized what was going on it was 1am and I was already worn out from a long day of training. The following morning which is 3/21/2024, I alerted the front desk and they told me that the manager was gone then it switched to that they were in a meeting... so idk what the truth is on that one. I requested that my money get returned back for my stay there and that I get compensated in points so that I can have a place to stay since I'm unhoused at the current moment and that I will need a place to stay... all I was told to do was call the manager the next morning and that there was nothing that they could do. I do want to point out that I don't think that I would of reached a manager via the reviews because of the comments saying that the managers wouldn't help either. So, I called corporate and they were able to give me a one night stay at the university research hotel...I still don't think that's enough but I was too tired/exhausted after feeling all that trauma and unsafe in my body that I just agreed to what was given. I will say, that Jake did all that he could for me after listening to my story so I don't blame him. Honestly, looking back I should of stood down more on what I needed so I can make sure that I was covered. Hindsight is 20/20. After that call, I was transferred to another line so that you could get my business and be a marketer for your newer hotel. It's like, that's nice but I just spent my money on a hotel that didn't do me right in the first place! I still believe that I need my money back and I should be awarded points so I can have a safe place to rest my head. No one should have to deal with this...we work hard for our money to stay in a clean space and then it's disgusting and unsanitary on all levels. unacceptable. I'm surprised this establishment is still around...I will need to contact my lawyer to see if this is...
Read moreThis review is regarding a stay on 9/24/22. We should have listened to the bad reviews. The entire experience was awful. Worse than any other hotel stay we've ever experienced before. We have been choice hotel rewards members for quite some time and have stayed at their hotels for a number of years. We will never stay at any of them again. The properties are going downhill and this one was the final straw. This was clearly another brand before becoming Comfort Inn and was given a slap remodel job. The customer service was significantly lacking. The room was in need of serious repair (refrigerator did not work, floors were filthy, the closet was broken and completely off the track with the door sitting on the floor, bathroom did not have a towel bar for the hand towel, the bed had a strange worn out piece attached to the wall.) We immediately discussed staying at another hotel but decided to tough it out since we were only staying one night and would not be in the room very much. We called the front desk shortly after getting in our room regarding the refrigerator not working and was told someone was on the way up to fix it. 15 minutes later we called again and let them know we would soon be leaving and still needed the refrigerator fixed for medicinal reasons and they told us again someone was on the way up. Another 20 minutes later and still nothing. We did not receive any assistance until we went down to the front desk and wouldn't leave until someone followed us up. The repair guy simply swapped our refrigerator with another one. When we returned to our room that night around 11:30pm we showered and went to bed. From that point until 3:30am it was a nightmare. We were constantly woken up by 7 or more large groups of people screaming, laughing, blaring music in the hallways and constantly slamming doors on the third floor. After the 4th time we called the front desk and asked for the night manager and the guy who answered told us there wasn't one. We shared our concerns and disbelief that other guests had been allowed to act like that and create such a disturbance and we were told that we could speak with a manager later in the morning. And that was it. We actually contemplated calling the police because it was so alarmingly loud and worrisome that we feared for our safety. We decided we would leave as quickly as possible that morning. The continental breakfast was a joke, it was lacking in every way possible. Upon checkout we were never asked about our stay but weren't surprised a bit because this hotel does NOT care if you enjoyed your stay or if you have a pleasant experience. Do not stay at this Marijuana smelling, joke of a hotel. The amount of money we spent on our one night stay was a complete ripoff. Go...
Read moreMy flight was delayed many hours through American Airlines, they put me up here overnight as they made me so late there weren’t any flights out to my destination until the morning. Upon arrival I was told I would have to call my own taxi to use the free voucher I was given by the airline back to the airport and since I was so late around one am after a full day of waiting at the airport I decided to just use the free shuttle the next day at 5:00am. At 4:30 am I was called by the front desk asking if I was taking the shuttle which I said ‘yes’ then she said I should give her my free taxi pass so she could give it to another guest who she called the taxi for…. Ummm what? So you won’t arrange a taxi for me but you call me at 4:30 am so you can take mine and pass it along to someone else so they don’t have to take the shuttle. Then she retracted and said I could take the taxi instead and if I was coming down right this moment at 4:30 am as though I was obligated to do that and she was annoyed. I said no I was coming down at the 5:00am time as was planned then she said fine she would call the taxi and they would be there. I get down there at 5:48 am go to the front desk and ask if the taxi was coming she said they had come but left… I did not believe her, it was obvious she just said whatever she needed to to simply not be helpful and get rid of anyone she had no intention of being helpful to. I’m a polite person but that doesn’t mean I don’t notice rude, self-centered and unprofessional behavior. The rooms, elevator, hallways smell. In no way would I have stayed there if American Airlines had not delayed my flight for over six hours. That was bad enough but I still am patient and don’t take it out on anyone but it’s been a strange visit as everyone I came into contact with at the airport to this hotel ( the taxi to the hotel was a nice person) have been surly and rude. Sheesh, you’d think I would be the aggressive one but it’s just the people I had to interact with in the...
