Lucas Cinemas Fort Benning — Local services in Chattahoochee County

So glad I can write this review a few years later.

Worked for them when they first opened in 2019 (previously worked at the AMC as well).

Here are a few reasons why if they weren't the only theater on Fort Moore I would recommend not giving them business:

Prior to opening day they INSISTED on using DIRTY/USED toilet scrubs to clean all of the door handles to the theaters (despite me telling them that the equipment in the storage closet was used, it only looked clean because we took good care of it).

Very unserious and rude management, I forget his name said I had a "very punchable face", as well had very clear anger issues when things didn't go exactly as he wanted.

They fired a lot of very talented staff when they first moved in based off of who "they liked the best", and they hired their never before employed kids and friends.

There was VERY CLEAR racial bias when it came to how certain individuals were treated and and scheduled initially, that I witnessed (I'm caucasian so you can imagine I didn't experience this first hand).

Clear bug problems in specific theaters that they refused to deal with in the year I was there

Just all around bad practices, and childish people, but this is what you should expect when you get the people who didn't actually do any of the work to run a former theater company, just sat in offices taking credit for others' ideas.

Edit: to the manager who said I’ll never get a better job and was lucky to make 12 an hour, I’ve been a TV director in a major city for 3+ years making significantly more than what I made there. I must have the punchable...

The grey paint on this Theater looks awful. A Theater should be a cheerful place and this weird Grey paint thing makes it look like a prison. There are old screens and seats in most of the theater but there is atleast one that has a very good screen and extremely comfortable reclining seats. The prices are great compared to many other Theaters. The staff are always kind and the Theater is very clean. Remember to pay proper respect for the national anthem as it is played before...

2 but intelligent teenagers working the counter would not honor the AMC bucket refill that they had promised me when I bought it.... They said, "Uh...... We're like under new like management... We're not AMC anymore and that's an AMC bucket" needless to say I am taking my business elsewhere out in town... It's a real shame because I am active duty army and would like to support my own businesses on the installation but something that is run this poorly does not deserve...
