I came in after being robbed by a so-called “family friend” who had agreed to make my wedding band and instead gave me garbage (left-most in the picture). For months I had been agonizing about the metallic abortion sitting and staring at me on my living room table. Countless other jewelers had told me there was nothing they could do to help, I was devastated. Then, I got ahold of Briana at CF who made it their mission to take care of business.

After hearing my sob-story about my ruined ring, Briana and her staff did everything in their power to ensure I would have a polar opposite experience working with them. From their constant (but not overwhelmingly so) communication, the surprise physical “model” in silver made to ensure I like the design, and ultimately the final model (center in the pic), they absolutely knocked it out of the park.

The result was stunning and exactly the “simple but classic” look I was hoping for. From there, we decided to trust them again with our wedding bands. We brought in loose diamonds to turn into a band. Eric helped us again and was not only patient, but really guided us in understanding different settings and reasons to choose one over the other. The end result of both the the engagement ring and wedding band was absolutely perfect. His special touch to clean my engagement ring while looking at bands was really nice too. Charles Frederick Jewelers has been a family favorite place to shop since at least 2009, to have items repaired and generally a wonderful place to stop in to say "Hi"! All of the folks who work there are friendly and knowledgeable. I recall the first visit when I noticed that all the jewelry had prices fully displayed. What a refreshing change from other places where I had to ask to see how much an item was! Most recently, I called the shop because I needed a replacement earring. (A good N95 is fantastic at removing earrings!) They were able to locate the original order file, and promptly filled an order for a single earring, then texted me when the item came in the shop. I don't live nearby, but my daughter does, so she could pick it up for me.
