Updated review: I guess third time is the charm. Food and service was excellent. They had live music and it was also good.
Old review: So my husband I met up with some friends here tonight and had a miserable experience. Pros: appetizers came fast and were delicious. Called ahead for seating got right in. Cons (prepare yourself): our server seemed like she d idnt want to be there and we soon learned why. After our appetizers we orders our meals. There were 4 of us and we ordered nothing crazy. While we were waiting out drinks (soda and water) got low. Out server never offered, we had to ask. When she came over to refill my friends glass, I asked her to top mine off. She gave me a look and told me to 'take a big sip first' confused, I did so. Time went on and we started to heasr those around us to get restless. There were several noises of broken glass and we thought that the kitchen was having a tough night. 1.5 hours after we finished our appetizers the manager started making rounds. No one was getting their food. She told us they just lost a cook and the kitchen was behind. Our server never came out in that 1.5 hours to offer an explanation mind you. We heard her tell another table 'what do you want me to say?' Another customer with small children went up to her to find out what was going on and it sounded like she was arguing with him. We finally got out food but half of us couldn't eay it. My husband's steak was still mooing and for 22 dollars only got 4-5 steak tips. My chicken was cold. My friend's also had food that was overcooked or under done. The poor customers next to waited just as long for their salads. We did get comped after numerous talks with the manager, who pleaded that it wasn't the servers fault that our food was terrible. We understood it was a kitchen problem but she never checked in with us and avoided us like a plague. The only time she came out after our food came was to ask us if we 'ever worked at a resteraunt' and 'it's not my fault.
In conclusion, this is our second time going to 110. Two different locations, same slow and miserable service and undercooked food. We will not...

Hi and welcome to another episode of javing it with Javier. Let's see what we are javing today. To start off the night, I will be trying out the fried calamari and the nachos with spinach dip. The main course will be a 12 oz NY steak with onion strips and seasonal vegetables. Let's dive right into the review.
The appetizers came to our table fairly quickly. Some of the fried calamari was slightly soggy but the Thai dip made it fairly enjoyable. The nachos were very crispy and the spinach dip was warm and complemented the nachos well. I thought that I would be most excited for the main dish, but was slightly disappointed once it arrived. Both the green peas and the onion strips were really oily. The onion strips were also quite soggy and was laid there like a clump. Although the steak was well flavoured with the butter and salt, my biggest complain is that it was not cooked evenly. The ends of the steak were well done and it slowly transitioned to my requested medium rare in the middle. Although the middle was very tender, the sides of the steak were way too dry.
Our waitress made sure to check up on us occasionally and was very helpful in recommending their most popular items on the menu. she said that the steak was one of their most popular items...sadness :(
The price of the steak was $30 which is what I would normally expect of a 12 oz NY steak. However, if I knew that the steak would be cooked like this, I'd much rather have tried something else on the menu. The sides didn't help to justify the price either.
In conclusion, I felt like the quality of the appetizers were better than the main dish. It's a little surprising that the main dish was the least enjoyable part of the night. And that's it for today's episode of javing it with Javier. And remember...
Read moreReally good food except...... 110 grill has a wonderful menu and executed it extremely well with one exception. The good: Bread and Butter - absolutely fresh and delicious - the butter spread was infused with chives and garlic and was so good Butternut squash soup with maple cream and cranberry sauce was arguably the best I've ever had. The maple cream and cranberry sauce dribbled on top blended perfectly with the very thick squash soup. Meat loaf and hamburger with sides of french fries and mashed potatoes - comfort food done right as reported by my companions.
The one major disappointment - Steak and cheese sandwich To quote the menu, "certified angus beef shaved steak, caramelized onions, red and green peppers, smothered with american cheese served in a crusty sub roll" served with one side. Again, the bread was so fresh, the onions and peppers delicious - BUT it was ground beef, not shaved steak. Ground, well done hamburger chopped in pieces. I only like rare hamburger, grilled on a charcoal grill. Ground beef fully cooked is only good with additions as in meat loaf or meatballs. Plain ground beef, cooked well done is - boring. In addition I was not asked what side I wanted - what I got was a pickle (never mentioned on the menu) and french fries. I hate pickles. I don't want them anywhere near my food. And french fries, even perfect french fries as these were, are just not what I'm eating now. I would have much preferred the broccoli.
The service was great. They immediately removed the pickle upon request. They left off the cheese at my request. However, they had no response when I pointed out that the meat was ground not shaved. Just didn't respond. Oh well. I know what not to...
