Shhh - another secret in Cheraw! Steeped in an ole timey southern back town nature. Yes , you might want to turn around, but after you order some fresh fish from the ice tank; they'll fry it up.
Cubed or whole. Farm raised catfish - corn fed catfish makes for some delectable fish nuggets.
Scallops ā not just, not some, but the 2nd best tasting scallops I've ever had since my trip to Taiwan on the other side of the world. No bitterness, no sandy texture, and no fishy flavor. They fried them up to make these scallops rock. I didn't know if they could, but I would ask them to pan sear them with butter.
Atmosphere - You're stepping into a families lifelong passion of serving the freshest fish to a small community. Cheraw is steeped in a lot of family heritage, which can be seen in the story that this building tells by just looking at the walls. It's a story of hard work and love! It's fading, but it's really cool to see!
Location - back town just up from Cheraw, PeeDee park. So you could take your bag lunch and watch the river go by.
Staff - down to earth good folks! They're carrying on from what their family started...
