Scallops ‐ not just, not some, but the 2nd best tasting scallops I've ever had since my trip to Taiwan on the other side of the world. No bitterness, no sandy texture, and no fishy flavor. They fried them up to make these scallops rock. I didn't know if they could, but I would ask them to pan sear them with butter.

Atmosphere - You're stepping into a families lifelong passion of serving the freshest fish to a small community. Cheraw is steeped in a lot of family heritage, which can be seen in the story that this building tells by just looking at the walls. It's a story of hard work and love! It's fading, but it's really cool to see!

Location - back town just up from Cheraw, PeeDee park. So you could take your bag lunch and watch the river go by.

I was actually ordering at another store and they recommended that if I had a taste for fish that I should go to Teal Seafood. Upon arrival the place looked exactly what some people had already described, sketchy. I was already prepared for that. They have seating and tables inside with hot sauce, paper towels, salt, pepper and apple cider vinegar(news to me). When you get to the counter they have fish on ice. I grew up with this place. Back in the day Mr Teal what's the only place to get seafood. He was always gracious. Took my mom there to get some fresh seafood as well as have some cooked. It cooked seafood was fried to perfection but need it a little more seasoning. I know some people may not like the old fashioned way, it was okay to me.
