Chesapeake Candy Works — Local services in Chesapeake City

We came across this place by accident as we walked around Chesapeake City. It’s a marvelous little shop! All sorts of candies, including old favorites, and confections as well including chocolate covered marshmallows, fudge and others. We were so excited to find our favorite, beautiful chocolate covered pretzels! Both milk and dark chocolate and others with toppings. We bought a box of pretzels and a bunch of other candies (not cheap by any means).

The freeze-dried candies were really good (very sweet).

We were disappointed with the pretzels. The dark chocolate with sea salt were surprisingly WAY more salty than we expected. Shockingly salty! The dark chocolate pretzels without salt were strange. The flavor was ok, but the pretzels must have been stale when they were dipped. We would not buy these again. The dark chocolate peanut butter cup was good.

Full of deliciousness from chocolates to fruity flavours including candy, ice cream, frozen yogurt, soda, and healthier snacks. Friendly service, clean environment, homemade, and reputable brands. Always enjoyed this classic bank building, so I was happy to get a hefty box of tasty treats from the visit as well. For kids and kids at heart, this is one of the many 'must stop' locales in...

We found this place randomly walking around. I always go into candy stores when I'm by one. I've never had a dark chocolate banana cream so when I saw that I had to try it. It was delicious!! The dark chocolate marshmallow was also delicious! The store is organized and clean. Staff was cheerful...
