CVS — Local services in Chesapeake

I am not sure who the lady is that returned my call but I left a message to inquire about the cash price of a prescription that is not covered by insurance. The first issue is while the system may have transcribed my name as Renee, I corrected her and she said huh? I said what my correct name is and she said the transcibed message said Renee. I said again what my name is and instead of saying my name correctly, she blew pat it. Terrible customer service. I already knew that even if CVS did have a lower price that I would not be spending my money there because I do not deal with places that have a lack of customer service. She asked how many scripts I get filled there and I said none. She said that they couldn't tell me the price of a script as when it comes into the system, the pricing depends on what insurance covers. I told her it is not covered by insurance which is why, as per my message, I called to get cash pricing. She said it depends on the amount, script level, and how many days. I asked if she couldn't tell me that since I already knew that info and she said no. I said ok and hung up. Every other pharmacy in the area has the capability to go into the system and input info to tell pricing. So not only does their customer service suck, but their system is inept. Went to get otc products allotted by my insurance company. Much to my surprise, there's a section in the store for the products offered. But there were many empty sections on the shelves and only a few otc products available. The catalog product numbers were not all in order nor were there spaces for all catalog products. It's my thought that this has recently been added and isn't completed. This will be of much help while getting what I need, if this section is put in product number, stocked with these items and finished, and is why a 4 star review instead of 5. Great idea for ones that prefer to see these items instead of ordering by catalog. I will be going every three months for these and hope this will be in good shape next time. My brother uses this pharmacy and I’ve used it before they treat everybody like trash, excluding one pharmacist who is actually someone that treats people with dignity. The rest of this staff treat everybody like garbage and do not know the definition of customer service. I highly recommend going to a different pharmacy or at the very least a different CVS. I’ve been using Cvs for over 10 years and the CVS I used to go to was probably the best PHARMACY I’ve ever been to. They treat you great they don’t degrade you unfortunately That Cvs is no longer around . So you might get lucky if you switch to a different Cvs but honestly I would try any...
