My son wanted to try out needle felting, but the shop was running low on materials due to a supply shortage. The clerk figured something out and sent us home with what we needed. He made a shamrock to go with a leprechaun hat that I’m making and it looked great! The next weekend he thought he would like to make a fox, but needed white wool. The clerk overheard us talking about how we just needed a little bit and she also thought outside the box to send him home happy. He made a fox and a little later a Christmas tree. And then he said, “I love this.” To think, if the ladies hadn’t found a way and he hadn’t had these materials, he wouldn’t have known the joy of crafting.
