Overall I liked this playroom. I will definitely bring my daughter back. She had a lot of fun looking at everything and being around everyone. We stayed for an hour and as time went on she got more comfortable playing on more of the playsets.
I really like the way the room looks. It is supposed to model being outside and I think they did a really good job making that happen. The clouds are a nice touch.
I am a mom who loves color, this room in my opinion doesn't have much color. I also understand that is more of the Montessori mindset. I also understand bright colors fade over time and show more dirt faster, so this could also be a business decision. That doesn't really affect my review or how I feel about the play room, but I know not everyone loves the beige look.
The ONLY reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is I don't feel like there's a GREAT middle ground to the playroom. I think this is a really good space for those who are just starting to crawl and then those who are 3-6. There are lots of climbing toys and there are a fair amount of toys that I feel like older kids would be interested in but in my opinion not as many for the 1-2 year old range. My daughter takes a while to warm up to new spaces, so she wasn't confident climbing most of the play sets.
Also, I wish I had taken a photo, there are tubes you put balls in at the top and they come out the bottom. My daughter was really interested but wasn't tall enough to put the balls in. I wish there were some shorter sizes for the younger kids.
With all that being said, I will still be bringing my daughter back because she did have fun. I think you should give this place a try to see for yourself how your kids like it. If your kids like the outdoors and climbing things they'll probably love this space. Definitely a great addition to the Chester area. Even considering having my daughters birthday party here in the winter.
Edit: we came back for a second visit and my daughter was MUCH more comfortable. She had a BLAST. She loved going into the second room which was open when we visited too.
Overall super happy that there's a playroom so close to us that my daughter loves. It's a great option to have on days that playing outside isn't an option and we need to get out of the house. So glad...
Read moreI took my 2yo and 6 month old to check it out this week and they loved it! My daughter had so much fun with pretend play using the playhouse and toy flowers and campfire. She loved climbing through the soft play “obstacle course” and swinging on the rings on the play set. I got an iced coffee and I love that there’s lots of syrup options to customize your drink. Next time we’ll have to try a snack too. I love the outdoor theme of the playroom and the clouds hanging are so cute. My son had a great time just sitting on the floor chewing on toys and watching everyone haha. We didn’t check out the classroom yet but I saw it looked really fun in there as well. There is a changing table in the bathroom as well as a toddler potty seat and step stool which is so great for us potty training moms. My only complaint is the grass carpet in the playroom is a bit scratchy/rough but I feel like with time it may soften up and it’s just brand new. I wish Toddling Around was closer to me since I live 30 mins away in Richmond, but we will...
Read moreI cannot say enough positive things about toddling around! I have a two year old and a one year old and we all LOVE the play room. It’s so inviting, clean, and most importantly FUN! It’s clear how much thought went into the space and it is SO cool and engaging for little kids. I hosted a birthday party here last weekend and I cannot recommend it enough! Elizabeth (owner) assisted with the planning process/the day of party and was so accommodating, helpful, and kind. Everyone had SO much fun also - the dream location for an event for littles. I also started purchasing some swag from teething around, which they have available for purchase at toddling around and oh my gosh! It’s all super soft, durable, and absolutely adorable. If you haven’t tried toddling around...
