So I’ve gone to this salon for awhile but one day I wanted a change and I wanted to get a beautiful silver white gray hair and what I ended up getting was something just not at all what I wanted.. it was a dirty nasty gray with purple tint and I still had brown streaks in my hair it all together looked wack and not right. I then returned and said I hate it like this isn’t at all what I wanted and the funny thing is I have really short hair and they were trying to charge me $370 for something I didn’t end up getting when I was quoted $180 and it could get up to $220 and the stylist put way to much bleach on my head it was ridiculous! I told her exactly how much money I had and she went over what she quoted me I know it depends on the product but if your not sure how much then you shouldn’t have done it! I then return requesting something to be done I mean my hair it was a complete mess so a lil later another stylist takes me to the back and takes all the gray out and leaves me blonde all blonde I looked absolutely ridiculous I was so deeply disappointed and I felt embarrassed regardless if they “think” it looked good, it all comes down to my personal outlook on the color and style of my hair and I just didn’t like it! The staff was very unprofessional, rude and just horrible to be honest I felt as if I wasn’t taken seriously by anybody I’m 18 years old and I was scammed out of my money and just not treated right by anyone working there! They didn’t ruin my hair once but they ruined it twice!! I wouldn’t go to this salon period in less you want to be out of all your money and taken advantage of because your hair says a lot about who you are and is your most important appearance and my appearance was ruined by this place and I will not be returning! my hair was ruined by Alexa and then ruin again by Sarah! The owner of the place was no where to be found and would not give me at least half my money back I got $60 out of the $280 they tried to charge me with they then still charged me $220 for the horrible service I received and the hair they left me with! The owner then invited me back a few days later on a day they were closed to look at my hair to try and “fix” something that couldn’t be fixed! She tried saying I was just paranoid for no reason.. she didn’t do anything to fix it she washed it and blowdried and tried to style it to try and convince me it wasn’t that bad! It was horrible.. I’m writing this review in hopes to helping someone before you make the mistake of going there like I did!
Here are some pictures of the washed out gray to this nasty blonde that I didn’t ask for!👍🏼 And one of the gray since the person who did my hair denied sending me any of the pictures she took! So I had my friend take pictures in case of...
Read more** Original Review below. However, after speaking with the owner I felt compelled to make an adjustment.
I spoke with the owner on 04/13. I must say that she made EVERY effort to speak with me sooner, but our schedules didn't line up. When an experience goes south, it's all about recovery. Teresa definitely understands this. She took the time to speak with me in detail about my experience. She offered a profound apology and MORE! She seemed to take the feedback to heart....and that's what I needed her to do. Recovery was top notch...and because of this, I changed my rating from 1 star to 4.
**Original review begins here. My daughter purchased 2 of these coupons for $10 each. For me and her to have a spa day starting at this salon. Before we went she had to make an appointment. Upon doing so she informed them that I was an African American woman, and she wanted to know if there was a stylist that could do my hair. The receptionist told her there was stylist there for me.
When we got to the salon, they required the gratuity before any services were rendered. (Which it doesn't say that anywhere on the coupon.) The stylist asked what I wanted done to my hair, I said a flat iron. She informed me that, that would be an additional $20. Eventhough a style is included, which was stated on the coupon.
The stylist waxed my eyebrows and washed my hair. When she walked me to the chair and sat me down she took away the towel and the water was running down my neck and back. As she attempted to blow dry my hair, it wasn't getting dry or straight. When less than half of my hair was partially straight and still very wet at the root. She picked up the flatirons and tried to straighten my hair. I asked her to stop so she would burn out my hair. I had to ask my daughter to go back to our house to get my blow dryer and comb accessory. I left with my hair wet and only a blow dry.
This was the worst experience I've ever had in a salon. If they were honest about not having a qualified stylist my daughter would have taken her sister instead. No manager came over or got involved. And the stylist apologized, but she needed to get to her...
