I recently met Ralph on one of my kitchen remodeling construction projects. My customer purchased her new appliances through Stroud Tv & Appliances.... Ralph came with the owner to install my customers appliances.. Upon the install I explain to Ralph, I have a Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator that I had purchased new and I had been noticing it short cycling off and on every half hour no matter what I've done to the settings inside the refrigerator!! So he indicated he works on then he would send his guy out and contact me an set up a service call... I had my refrigerator pulled out, the rear cover off.. His guy checked and confirmed that the compressor was fine, opened up the refrigerator and pulled a knob off of the thermostat and told me this is what's bad.. He proceeded to write a bill out for $84 and was here a total of 10 minutes... He said the office would call me with the amount for the part and labor to install the part.. They called me a few within a few days told me the thermostat for the refrigerator was $80 and the labor to install it would be $30 I told him to go ahead and order the part and let me know when it comes in to schedule the install!! * Long story short!! all they did was sell me a new thermostat part!!! My refrigerator is still......... short cycling every half hour no matter what I do to the new thermostat settings..... I contacted the office they said that the owner Ralph would be in contact with me!! it's been over a week and has not returned my phone call!!! I would never use their services again or ever call them!!! in my opinion all they did was replace a part that did not need to be replaced, & I am left with the same problem that I...
Read moreI really did not want to leave this bad review but the company has left me with no other choice. My mother purchased a dryer from them when hers has died. She used the new dryer twice when the seal on the door had broke. She called the company and they sent a repair man out. The repair man came with no tools and was not able to fix the issue. She scheduled another day they could come out and she was given the window 10am-2pm. This was the first day she had off in 14 days. 2pm came and no technician/repair man had stopped by yet. At 2:45pm she gets a text that read exactly this, “ Hi Lisa, Due to your negative review on social media,Nelson the manager was forced to follow the directives from Ralph the owner,to advise you to call Ge. We have no control how the product is made.We were willing to replace the dryer door for you at our cost.”
Not only is this very unprofessional of the company by communicating this through text message, they sent it AFTER the time window she was given. My mother is not technology savvy and wouldn’t even know how begin to leave a review. Finding out this information I called the company looking for some answers. I understand mistakes happen and they may have possibly mixed her up with someone else. The manager did not take my call or give me a call back.

Called and they came out and replaced it with a second dirty and broken washer. Which is when I looked in the dryer and got the extra bonus of someone else's roaches and bodily lint. Don't worry this came at no extra charge. Called and spoke with the assistant who swears they clean their machines before being sold. They came out a third time with a new "out of the box" washer and dryer set not even a month later the washer has destroyed more clothing then it's washed and is now having lid errors. All this being said I was told I expected perfection. I guess perfection is expecting to buy working, clean machines. If you like spending money to just have more problems then fixes please enjoy their service. To all others that can't afford to buy multiple machines go...
