Wawa — Restaurant in Chestnuthill Township

Unbelievable is all I have to say. I came in at approximately 1:39 PM we waited about five minutes for a hoagie. Plain Italian hoagie not to difficult. The service was fine everything was made in a timely manner I get the food, I come home I unpackage my food I take a bite into it only to discover there is a giant what seems to be cricket inside of my sandwich. I am completely disgusted with this business this is outrageous. Their produce must not be fresh because this is a bug that was embedded in the lettuce. How do you make a sandwich and not notice there are insects in your lettuce. That is really disgusting I am never coming back to this place, I was expecting a nice hoagie instead I find that I have just bit into the side of the sandwich the bug was in and I’m pretty sure I could’ve ate part of the bug because half its body is missing. With even looking at the photos of this bug how do you not notice that you have just picked that up with some lettuce and have put it in the sandwich, it is really hard to not notice that. I rate this store I solid 5 stars. I went in here on Sunday night May, 22. My gf & I bought several items totaling around $23.86. Since (obviously) we’ve been struggling we have an EBT. (SNAP) card. Our total was not covered by our EBT card by nearly a dollar. At first we were going to take something off but then decided to just pay the difference in cash. That’s when Marcus (the manager and employee ringing us out) stepped up, did not allow us to remove any items, , and did not accept my money, he used his own. He realized that we are going through a tough time and found it within himself to do a truly good deed tonight and help out two complete strangers. I could also note Marcus’s steady good mood/vibes, greeting and saying goodbye to every customer coming in & leaving. WAWA is certainly lucky to have an employee such as Marcus as ppl like him are very hard to find. Wawa, I highly recommend throwing Marcus a bonus, a raise, and a promotion while you’re at it, before you loose him to someone who will see the value he brings. Thank you again Marcus, you really...

914 in the morning and there's no more scrambled eggs for their breakfast sandwiches. They won't even cook anymore. Even though they serve breakfast until 11:00. It only takes 45 minutes to cook the eggs, and with a little foresight they could be ready to go when you run out at 9:00 in the morning. This constantly happens with this location, it's poorly managed. You think you might be saving yourself the hassle of having extra eggs around 11:00 but instead you're driving away customers like me who will only have those types of scrambled eggs on their breakfast sandwiches. It's Sad that this is how my local Wawa is ran and I'm forced to deal with this. My job has me on the road a lot and no matter which Wawa I drive to in other towns, I can always get my scrambled eggs breakfast sandwich...
