This is without doubt the most pathetic pharmacy I've ever used! Today I went to pickup prescriptions. I previously had a letter hand delivered to them stating that I wanted a new prescription synced with my other prescriptions. Nonetheless they filled it now. I was told that they don't respond to written communications. I started at the drive-in window. The screen on the window was down but the system welcomed me saying "a team member will be with you shortly". So I decided to wait. After a few minutes I decided to go inside. When I told them they should turn off the please wait message I was told "we have no way to do that". I suggested that they at least put up a sign, but I doubt they will even do that. If this pharmacy wasn't just a mile away from me I would definitely not use it.
An update as of March 23rd, 2024. It never fails to amaze me how truly bad this pharmacy is. I receive a text message saying "We are contacting your DR, for an alternative medication for Rx F." I'm obviously concerned, so I call to find out what's happening. After ten minutes on hold the phone appears to answer, but the call immediately hangs up. So I decide to visit in person. I ask what this is about, I'm told my insurance company might not be paying for this drug anymore, and some other obscure reason I can't recall. They tell me they'll let me know what happens. I ask them exactly what the reason is, since they just gave me a rundown of possibilities. They look it up on the computer and they tell me "the prescription needed to be refilled, they called the Dr. for a refill". They didn't even need to tell me that, instead they said I needed an alternate medication. Just par for the course at the CVS...
   Read moreThis particular Tuesday night I found the staff rude to me particularly. I came in to buy an at home COVID-19 test and a thermometer for my grandmother. I was told previously by other people at the test was at the pharmacy counter, but the pharmacist told me it was the front counter. So I walked to the front, I waited patiently behind one woman for at least 5-10 minutes. When I got to the counter, the cashier did not apologize to me for the wait (that is not a big deal, but wait until the end of the review to see why this is notable). I ask her if there are any COVID-19 tests, she then says they are not at front counter, and says they are "clearly at the front." Talking to me as if I am unintelligent. So I said, can you please show me? Clearly irritated she shows me and makes no note to apologize to the woman behind me (who just showed up in line). No clear signage but I was supposed to see it. Then I said, where are the thermometers. Even more irritated, she begrudgingly shows me. So now at checkout finally, goes pretty quickly. She then apologizes to that same woman a second time. Interesting who gets treated with nice service and who is being treated like a burden. I really did try to look for those items on their own, however I have never had to shop for a thermometer and I just did not see it.    Read moreIf there is any other pharmacy that took my family’s insurance in the area we’d go there. They are always “a week behind”, due to short staffing. There’s always an issue with communication, and with them filling the scripts based on the physician orders. Today I caught the manager who was working the pharmacy register in a lie that cost me an hour of my time. When I requested a script for a family member that was on auto refill and should have been filled accordingly, it was told it would be 30 mins for them to fill. I waited and waited. Others came and requested their over due meds be filled and got them and left. So after another 20 mins I asked. He said he herd my family members name called a while ago. I was in front of the counter the whole time, my family member was updating me on the status in real time. It was only after I said something the second time he rushed to get it filled, and magically the pending status changed to complete. He lied about it being done when in fact he never put it through. Accountability doesn’t exist here. When you say how their care is negatively effecting your personal health, it’s met with “oh well we just don’t have the staff”....
