The whole process was a complete lackluster mess. I figured I'd give them a go as I live in Brodheadsville and my local places haven't been putting out the best effort lately.
Not their fault on this one, but the parking lot looks like the surface of the moon. Be careful if you have low ground clearance or your take out will cost you a bumper or plastic cover.
The really important part here is the food. For the first time I can think of, I tossed my Chinese food without even wanting to finish it or have the leftovers. My soup had zero flavor, one piece of chicken and was littered with undissolved corn starch blobs from when they thickened it.
The pan fried wontons tasted like old, burned oil, had almost no filling and were extremely doughy in a very unpleasant manner.
The butterfly shrimp entree again had no flavor whatsoever , was extremely overcooked, over thickened mess of a sauce and was a down right disappointment.

This finally pushed me over the edge. After placing my order, I'm told it's only going to be a 10 minute wait. My first thought to such a short wait time is wow, and I started thinking I might get lucky and this is going to be the best meal I have from them yet.
Boy was I wrong...... I ordered walnut chicken.... A $10 dish. Not very expensive but it should at least be edible... Right ???
What I got was just enough sauce to laugh at. Dry chicken that did not taste right. And what is most closely resembled was walnut chicken that has been sitting in the back of the fridge for a few days. The kind of leftover you wouldn't dare unless it was the middle of the night drunken snack.
Never again happy family...
Read moreWe decided to get Chinese takeout instead of cooking on mother's day. We ordered moo goo gai pan, shrimp and scallops, and Hunan shrimp. We also got an egg roll and wonton soup and wonton egg drop soup. The food was good all round. The wait was very long for our food but I believe that's because we were far from the only family ordering Chinese for mother's day. It certainly wasn't because the staff was sitting around. They were extremely busy and trying very hard to get orders out. I was disappointed that we didn't get tea but maybe that's just something they don't include with their orders. This was the first time we had been there. I would go back and try it again. The prices were reasonable and the...
