Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of participating in a dry run of the escape rooms created by AdventureScape in Chickasha! When we tell you that this experience was phenomenal, we can assure you that this is not an exaggeration. When you first enter the building, you are warmly greeted by staff. There is game master assigned to each room/group (there are four (4) themed rooms). They are incredible story tellers and really help to set the mood for your escape room adventure. The game master will be the same voice you hear over the intercom that will guide you with clues or help get you through a tough puzzle or riddle. Top notch guides! The rooms!! There are four (4) themed rooms to choose from and we were fortunate to experience them all. If you have read this far, you have to be interested and we must tell you that these rooms are next level. No locked doors and never a dull moment. The experience easily competes with the special effects and immersiveness of large commercial amusement parks that can be found on the East and West coasts. Valley of the Kings - Enter an ancient and mysterious Egyptian tomb, lit only by flickering torches. The theming of this room is incredible. We have never been inside an actual Egyptian tomb, but can imagine it to be just like this. Clues are hidden along the walls, sandy floors, and there are secret compartments to be discovered that hold scrolls and scarabs written in hieroglyphics. Mystery at the Manor - This is a "Whodunnit" themed room. Your group has been invited to an extravagant dinner party at the mysterious manor and things take a dark turn when the host of the dinner party is murdered. Everyone is a suspect, even you! This experience is the shortest of the four (about 30 minutes), but it packs a lot of punch. So fun for families or a team building experience. The Sorcerer's Secret - This room is the most difficult of the four, but WOW! Your group is sent on a quest in a land filled with myths and magic. Riddles, puzzles, magic wands, traps, and secret rooms, this one has it ALL! It was so fun to watch our group decipher the clues to master the powers of the five elemental symbols. Mr. Potter would be so proud of this room! Nightmare in Whitechapel - Last, but not least, this room was our absolute favorite and perfect for our group of eight. The theming of the room takes you back to the late 1800's London during the era in which Jack the Ripper was active. All we can say is that it is incredible! You will feel like you are on the set of a movie. For lack of a better explanation, we will just quote the description from the website. This room is a "must-do"! "The Whitechapel district of London has become a place of nightmares, haunted by a string of gruesome murders, including the premature death of a local detective working the case. You and your fellow investigators must carefully scour the area for overlooked clues. These artifacts may hold the key to solving the murders, but they could also lead you to the killer himself. Decipher the messages and help discover the truth about the killer." We cannot recommend this place...
Read moreAdventureScape has some of the best escape rooms I've ever done. From the moment you walk into the building you that this place is well curated and will be intricately detailed. I had the pleasure of playing all four rooms and they are by far the most interactive, detailed, and fun escape rooms I've played. Soccer's Secret was my favorite out of the four. As an avid fantasy reader being in a room and magic and mystery was incredible. Valley of the Kings is also an incredible room. The puzzles in it are like nothing I've ever experienced in an escape room before and the detail throughout really made you feel like you were in an ancient tomb. Nightmare on Whitechapel absolutely transports you back in time to London and really makes you feel like you are a detective tracking down the killer. Each puzzle used the space perfectly and you had to make you looked in every nook and cranny for clues. Mystery at the Manor was for sure the most unique escape room I've ever played. I was confused when I saw that the time limit was 30 minutes, but the room did not disappoint. It really makes you feel like you are in a real life game of clue as try to figure out who murdered your host. I highly recommend showing this new business some love and stop by if your ever in the area and enjoy a...
