Houch's — Local services in Chillicothe

My first visit here a year ago, my review would have been 100% negative. I was checked out by the rudest older woman I have ever met in my life, and honesty didn’t want to come back. I’m in town regularly visiting family. This is the only liquor store in Chillicothe. So on my trip to Columbus, I forgot to stop at the liquor store on my way back. I reluctantly went back. I was helped by a friendly young lady with brunette hair. After that I started to think, this place might not be so bad. There is an older lady there now, but she’s not the woman that was nasty to me and.... you got it, she is extremely helpful and friendly. They are a small town liquor store and it takes some time for them to restock when something goes out, but all in all, the service and selection...

This is the best and by far my favorite liquor store! Not new to buying adult beverages, I've been of age for a few years longer then I'd like to spend time pondering:-) liquor is liquor and there are always going to be price differences here and there, but the people working there are kind, helpful, respectful (and my favorite part) pretty darn fun!! Well, actually since I'm 35 minutes south, I often make that my last stop and it's a great relief to know there is a clean lavatory available. So that might trump the "fun"...

Honestly very good prices on their alcohol. Much lower than the local grocery stores pretty much across the board. Their beer prices and selection is also better or generally the same with regards to price. Then there is selection of hard alcohol. It's absolutely amazing the selection in this local store. I was just at Jungle Jim's in Cincinnati. Now when it comes to wine and beer there is no comparison. It is what it is. When it comes to hard alcohol Hooch's wins hands down. Price...
