Was: so excited Am: so disappointed The sopes are a store bought shell, that isn’t properly cooked- should have some oil to get some crisp texture, instead they were warm and rubbery, covered with a tiny bit of refried beans and cheese, then a good amount of onion and cilantro with some avocado- if they made or prepared the shells, they would be better, maybe good, but my girlfriend didn’t even want to eat them how they arrived. The shrimp huarache was “ok” - the shrimp were well seasoned, but again the “shell”/ tortilla was not properly fried with some oil on the flat top, and there wasn’t anything else to lift this item from average at best. The Al pastor taco was another average item. Nothing terrible, but again no redeeming quality. The Cubana was so disappointing- the bread is not a good quality, the chicken that would normally be a breaded milanesa style was just seared chicken without much seasoning, the mixture of meats were bland (except the hot dog, which is really sad when that’s the best part). The salsas too were bland. Overall I was hoping for a local food truck, but now know I haven’t missed anything having not tried it despite living in the area for years.
