Emma's Boutique — Local services in Citrus Heights

I went in today and there were two people working there a man and a women. The man was helping me and my aunt and he was nice showing us the baptism dresses. Then the lady started to help too. She showed us their most popular dress which I didn’t like too much. I wanted to look at all the ones they had since they have a variety of dresses. I didn’t like some because they had some flowers on them. And the man mentioned that you can take some of them off. Towards us leaving, there was one dress I really liked. Which we set it to the side. Then the rude disrespectful lady asked me if I was born here or in Mexico. Confused as to why she would ask that question I proceed to them her that I was born here and then she started saying how people that are born here don’t know tradition that the flowers are nice and elegant and that’s why she doesn’t like showing people who were born here in the United States because we don’t know what we want. After she said that I told her thank you but no. And we left.

I was so disappointed with her service. I’m guessing she doesn’t want peoples business. Especially people who were born here in the United States.

Update: Store owner texted me victimizing herself. She said her niece was watching her store for her (at no moment in the 6 minutes we were there did she try to tell my daughter and I the process of their store) anyways I called her back and she was mad and said I was prideful and that I made her look bad. Was speaking over me and was really upset. I explained to her that my experience was the one I wrote and she did not care and was upset at the review so here I am updating it. She also said that her niece didn’t ask me about the money. Which she did none the less good luck. Very disappointed.

Original review: Don’t come here unless you have money on hand and know what you want. How ridiculous is that! The whole point is to try on, look at how you look in something, and know what color looks best on you. Well here you can’t do that she asked us how much money we were thinking of spending. Bye...

Originally had an appointment with whom i believe was the owner and they never showed up. One of her employees ended up helping us but had very little knowledge on prices. I took some photos of the christening attire to show the mother of the baby, in the moment we weren’t told there was any problem with taking pictures until i received messages from the owner letting me know if the pictures were used incorrectly there would be legal actions taken upon me.
