I found this place on a wim and I am glad I decided to come here. Although, the place seats were outdated and some even peeling, wobbly and cracked. And the waiter wasn’t very approachable and lacked friendly customer service. She seemed very unwelcoming when I came in the door and how she didn’t even greet me when I walked in the door and she didn’t even smile not once or say hello when I greeted her.. She looked as if she didn’t want to be there and felt uninviting. She seemed annoyed and lacked friendly customer service like she couldn’t be bothered or looked very annoyed.
But what made up for bad customer service was made up in the excellent food they serve. The pupusas 🫓 were sooooo good and freshly made and had the most amazing taste that reminded me back at my home land where I grew up. It is very hard to find good authentic food like this and I am very pleased that I stopped by. The food was so good very delicious. And the sweet fried Platanos were to die for. They were soooooo delicious that I had to order some more to go that’s how tasty they are. I definitely recommend the food here. It really reminded me how I used to grow up and how my grandmother used to make Platanos and pupusas fresh all the time and it was so good. that I definitely will be coming back for the food even tho I don’t live over there the food is totally worth it.
However, one complaint I have are the prices are a bit high I was disappointed by the high prices and I didn’t like that I had to stand up and order my food then sit down after paying. I kind of wish I could have sat down and read the menu first relax and to see what I wanted then order to the waiter should come to the table first to take orders and pay afterwards but that is not what they do. So I would change those things. But overall I would recommend this place to anyone that wants some real authentic great tasting food to come to this restaurant. The food is 5 plus stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️....
Read moreBEST SUPER NACHOS EVER! Basically, the chips are what make these special. The chips are extra thick and crisp so the toppings can be piled on and won't break nor get soggy. Also, they are so substantial you can sandwich them with all the toppings, take a bite, and the chips in your hand will still hold! Also the gooey nacho cheese is made in-house so it's tasty and doesn't taste like fakey cheese nor that canned stuff. I usually get an order of Super Nachos and Horchata for a To-Go snack but I just had it for Dine-In. I didn't think it could be any better but I was totally wrong. When it comes out hot, the cheese is even ooey-gooey-er! And the pico de gallo is fresher cuz the box traps the heat and kinda wilts the onion, cilantro and diced tomato. To-Go Super Nachos are still great, cuz they stay crisp and they don't get soggy IDK how long they would stay crisp for cuz they usually don't last long but the last chip is just as crunchy as the first. PAPUSA The Mixed Papusa (Pork, Beans, Cheese) real tasty, too. The cheese is stretchy and yummy rich cheese. Going to have to try the straight Cheese Papusa next time. Read moreHello, I hate to do this but I have to speak the truth... I did order pretty amount of food since was a special day, I paid almost 60 dollars, when I got home in Sacramento I noticed that the order was not complete they forgot the Yuca with chicharron, I called and so I have to go back to Citrus Hights to claim the plate that was missing, once I get back home, I got the surprise that the food was not good at all, the pupusas very grease, the empanadas tasted sour when they are supposed to be sweet, the filling is not what is supposed to be as pastry cream, and the chicharon was looking old and dry, and the Yuca not that great neither, I'm sorry but my experience today was really poor, and I will not comeback to buy...
