First time taking my family there to try new food, and I feel like I was scammed on the price of the plates just because I spoke Spanish. Me and my husband where trying to figure out what food was what and when we went to pay, the guy weight the plate and just told us to scan our card wasn’t gonna tell us how much it was, so for one plate of food we paid $52 ,for ONE PLATE and a soda. We were in so much shock we paid it and didn’t really think about till we got in the car. So we called and asked how much the cost per lb was and they said 13.99 but there’s no way you could fit 4lbs of food in that plate…… so for $52 we got rice beans and one side of meat and one drink we shared that between me my husband and 2kids just cause we wanted to...

This is the best Brazilian Grocery store in Tampa. The product variety is very good and they are consistently in stock of my staples. My mother does not have a Brazilian store where she lives and this is my go to for her care packages. Get their Pão de Sal, it's the best for breakfast with some ham cheese! It's so good, especially when it's still warm from the oven! Lately, the owner has been there pretty frequently, he's very attentive to all the customers, and he's super knowledgeable. The meats are good and well priced which keeps me coming back. And of course makes me want to buy other Brasilian treats, breads etc.

The market has a homemade Brasilian food by the pound eatery which is delicious and well priced. My only constructive criticism is to upgrade the salgados! The coxinha is sub-par, nothing like the ones I’ve had in Brasil. But overall 4.5...
