Do not ever stay here. If there is ever a problem the most you will get is a I’m sorry your review of this hotel will help us in the future to improve our service to our customers. Oh were you expecting any monetary value back I’m sorry we don’t do that we are extremely cheap but we are sorry for your horrible visit with black mold and blood on the wall/toilet seat and oh don’t worry about the construction we are undergoing we made sure to not post signs at the stair cases so you can walk through all of it and get told by the front desk that’s not the way you should be taking. Oh and did your family want a drink from the vending machines on the first or third floor because that’s what the sign on the elevator states. Well you can’t do that either as the first floor doesn’t have one and the third floor one is bone dry of everything. Not a it doesn’t have what you want as it doesn’t have the drinks you don’t like/want either. You know in this case as a meme I saw once said sometimes you need more than one middle finger and that’s why the man up stairs gave us two.
To get money back by the way you have to go through customer service which will demand a bank statement knowing you most likely don’t have one yet with that amount shown on it that was paid for the room and make you wait till you do to get anything back and then after that period of waiting be prepared to wait another 3weeks at most for them to mail you a check since they are not a merchant they cannot put it back to your credit card.

There were people partying the whole night. We made a complaint at 1:45am about the partying and had to leave because the other patrons were so rough and immediately started saying what are you going to do let’s go and called back up. We had to ask 2 times in order for staff to walk us to our car at 2am and leave after packing to get away because the guests were waiting downstairs in a group for us. We were supposed to get a refund for the night and instead charged for a second charge. When I called the hotel to discuss it with them they could not admit the mistake even with the proof of the receipt they emailed me and my bank statement. Instead the front desk attendant Sid talked over me and was argumentative. I should have a refund with a total charge of $0 after not getting out correct suite and being ran out of the hotel in with our safety in danger in middle of the night. Instead we have almost $500 taken out of our bank account and keep getting told it’s a refund. This place is a joke, terrible customer service, terrible management, poor facilities that look nice from a far until you get up close and see holes in the walls painted over. Read moreWe had recently decided not to book La Quinta hotels, due to the fact that they have become very shabby with dirty, worn out rooms. However, we had enough points to book one last room for free. We booked La Quinta Inn Tampa Central. Wow, were we impressed! The hotel has been totally remodeled and is extremely well-kept from the exterior to the rooms. Our room was the cleanest room we’ve booked with any hotel chain in the last 10 years! The staff was phenomenal from Ivon, who answered the phone when I called to get an early check in. She was very personable and very willing to accommodate. When we checked out, “Angie saw me walking through the lobby and she jokingly said are you leaving us,”with a laugh? Every employee we encountered from housekeeping to management, we’re professional, moved with purpose, paid attention to details, and acknowledged us when we walked by smiling, making ye contact and saying hello. They truly welcomed each person, as if they were guessed in their own homes. I’ve never encountered this at any level of hotel experience. Not sure if we will stay at another La Quinta, but when I’m Tampa, l’ll definitely come back to La Quinta Tampa Central.
