UPDATE TO CAITLIN: I HAVE LEFT NUMEROUS MESSAGES ON THE 2ND FLOOR WHERE MY MOTHER WAS LOCATED.ALSO, I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL FROM YOU SO PLEASE STOP LYING. AND HOW COULD YOU CALL ME WHEN YOUR FACILITY CLAIMS TO NOT HAVE MY INFORMATION??? I HAVE TRIED TO CALL YOU BACK TO DISCUSS THIS FURTHER BUT AS USUAL YOU DO NOT HAVE A RECEPTIONIST TO ANSWER THE PHONE.ITS FUNNY HOW FAST YOU CAN RESPOND TO A POOR REVIEW, BUT I NEVER RECEIVED SUCH FAST RESPONSE TIMES IN REGARDS TO MY MOTHER'S CARE. I WILL BE GETTING A LAWYER, YOU ALL HAVE BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS!
Update: My review is very much accurate. Just because you have claimed to have called me, which I would have answered, does NOT mean my review of your facility is not accurate. I would be ashamed of myself if I were you. My mom is now no longer with me due to your and your staffs negligence!
I would much rather give this facility 0 stars My Mother was admitted to Hudson Park on Friday. I had called to see how she was adjusting- half of the time a receptionist wasn't around to answer the phone and when I got the nurse's station, I got an answering machine. Left numerous messages with no call back. On Saturday, I finally get in touch with my Mother's nurse, she was very vague and rushed me on the phone not even allowing me the opportunity to speak with my Mom, I was told she was sleeping. Sunday, I was not able to speak with anyone leaving endless messages. I am not local, so I rely on speaking with the nurses to see how my mom is and get any updates.
Monday, after the 5th call a receptionist answers I get transferred to the nurses station, where I speak with a manager of the floor. She tells me my mom was transported to the hospital cause her oxygen was dangerously low, and she was not responding. I was not notified, I am her healthcare proxy, they claimed to not have my contact information- which is absolutely false.
My Mom was in this facility for 3 days, and in those 3 days she went from talking, eating, etc. To unresponsive, and barely breathing. These nurses knew my mom was unresponsive and when asked just brushed it off that she was sleeping. What kind of facility is this? I agreed to have my mother transferred here temporarily on the terms that they were going to help build her strength up- when they did the exact opposite! What did they do to my Mother?
My advice to anyone reading my lengthy review, by all means, DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. THEY ARE NOT IN IT FOR THE CARE OR COMPASSION BUT RATHER A DAMN PAYCHECK! I WILL SEE TO IT THAT THIS NEVER HAPPENS TO...
Read moreThis might be long but please please read if you might be sending a loved one here. My mother's name was Karen Coons. She was there to get stronger after a hospital stay where we found out she had cancer so she could go through chemotherapy. They gaslight me into thinking my mom was refusing to do the rehab. My mother was telling me how she would get very dizzy when standing they said she was saying that as an excuse not to do the rehab. After they finally released her, I had an oncology appointment set up for her that day. They talked to us had some blood work done and we left. Within 2 hours of leaving there they called us and told us to bring her to the closest ER. Her potassium level was extremely low and when she would stand her BP was dropping very very low. It took about 4 hours of her being OUT of this place to figure it out. They had her for 4 WEEKS. So she had another hospital stay. Not even a day after leaving here she was back in the hospital. This time for about 2 weeks until they could get here levels back normal and she wasn't getting dizzy when standing. We started rehab at the house but there wasn't enough time to start treatment because of all the wasted time here. She passed about 3 weeks after that hospital stay. My mother had diabetes and was told they serve over 2000 people they can't worry about 1 person's food needs. 1 morning she was served a single biscuit for breakfast because it was all they had. Thats what she was told anyways. I had to bring her cases of water because they wouldn't always bring it. Also had to bring out extra blankets because this place was horrible. If you care for your loved one PLEASE PLEASE look someplace else. Mom had stage 4 cancer I know her time was limited but because of this place it was cut even shorter. They wouldnt release her sooner and wouldnt do what was needed to see what was going on. There was poop on my moms bedframe from the day she got there until she left from the previous person this place was disgusting. I could continue on about this place but I doubt anyone is still reading this. Look through the reviews im sure you can tell the real from the fake. Seems like they have their employees leave 5 star reviews for some reason. Also have to leave 1 star but they really dont...
Read moreWhen my family member first came to this facility my impression was positive..2 months later and I'm wondering how this place is still in business. When my family member rings the alarm...no staff comes in to check for over an hour. Basic care is not being done. No bathing, no hair washing, no toileting. New bed sores each week. Dirty bedding and gown always. No gloves in the patient's rooms. This entire facility is unsanitary... used tissues and gloves on the floors. Staff napping at the desk, scuffing their feet down the halls while using their phones. The state should do a surprise visit and shut this place down. Basic needs of patients are definitely not being met!!!
Edit: 3-11-25 Hello Caitlin, I am most definitely registered in the kiosk and come regularly. My loved one has obtained 2 pressure sores since being admitted. Additionally there have been 2 emergency situations were i have not been called or informed that my family member was being taken to the hospital. I have not once had any contact with anyone in charge at your facility either. No family involvement in her so called rehabilitation that was also discontinued after 9 "sessions" if that's what you want to call them. I am hesitant to even post this review as I fear for further neglect or retaliation. Im truly terrified...
