As bad as I don’t want to write this review I have too. I’ve never had an experience like the one I did on 2/8/24. I’ve been going here since summer time of 2023 (since it was new owners again). I was first going to two ppl that worked there before they left. I tried the owner Emma & she was great. One day I called & Emma wasn’t working (Thursday). I asked for another worker who my mom said did great (CoCo). I went to her for the the first time & she was great. On 2/8/24 my experience wasn’t that great. As she was coming to an end preparing to do the design on my nails (I didn’t know if she cld do designs, I said I’ll try her out & if I don’t like it it’s no harm I’ll ask her to remove it). Well guys, I didn’t like the design. Usually I will keep it, due to the worker taking their time to do it. She wasn’t even done yet & I politely said, “CoCo do you mind taking the design off please I don’t like it, you can just leave the nail plain, it’s ok.” She proceeds to go off! Telling me that’s what I choose. I said yes, but I don’t like it! She got very upset & started to tell me THE CUSTOMER, that she didn’t want to do my nails anymore & to not come back to her! Mind you I said I love the way you shape & do my nails I just didn’t like the design! I’m paying for the service! I’m tipping! What’s the harm in me politely asking you to remove something that me, the customer doesn’t like! The owner (Emma) chimes in telling me to lower my voice! I told her I wasn’t bc her worker is getting crazy with me! The worker even proceeded to tell me to stop talking. I said I’m talking to Emma. In that moment I’ve never felt so hurt. I’m a very polite person. I always tip whether you do good or not. I STILL gave this woman a tip a $10 one at that even after she did all of that. That’s the kind of person I am. I don’t regret doing it. I WILL NOT be returning to this place as bad as I wld like to bc it’s hard to find ppl who really do a great job. I refuse to be treated as if I’m nothing when I show respect ALL THE TIME!! Read moreI went here once before and had a decent experience but my experience today has turned me all the way off. I had gone in today with a friend for a pedicure and tips with dip powder. They started me on a pedicure where the woman clipped all my nails extremely short and the pedicure was over in 20 minutes. Did not ask about the shape or take care in the pedicure like the man who had done my previous one. Then for my nails, they were clipped crooked but i decided that they could be fixed later on but they barely were. Nearing the end, she asked me to rinse my hands and I accidentally misheard her and washed with soap and water to which she came with an attitude rudely telling me that it was just supposed to be water.. my bad. The shape and finish of the nails are not professional at all, there are red dots throughout the set, and I was left with my fingers having messy glue and hardened dip powder all around . Highly unsatisfied. But what really turned me off was the way they handled my friends awful nails. Her nails were poorly shaped after she had told him to not touch the shape she had, had lint hardened all throughout the gel polish, and a dent in her thumbnail. She didn’t feel comfortable with the man fixing her nails at that point and had asked for $5 to be taken off the total. He refused to take the money off and only offered to fix them as a “two minute fix” which it would not have been and we had places to be after. Read moreI wanted to really like this place and I actually thought the people were very friendly. I decided to try this place because it was right next to my OT doctors and they could get me quickly. The older lady who did a spa pedicure on my toes did a wonderful job and quick. However; I wanted a glow in the dark nail polish and was told I could choose any color and it would glow. I was a little apprehensive about that but I was willing to pay the extra $20 for it because that's what I wanted. I left feeling happy because the lady was quick, efficient and nice. Later that day when I checked to see if it glowed, I got nothing! Shined my flashlight on it because sometimes that's all it takes(And you know that if you use glow in the dark polish) but nothing!! I called the next day and advised I don't see it glow. I was told to come back and they will check and fix it. The owner himself did it again and advised me if it doesn't work again to come back and he'll take $5 off my next set. WELL here we are, it doesn't work, I don't want to go back again. And to get $5 back after paying $20 makes no sense to me! That's barely the gas it took to go back. Thanks but no thanks. update: I appreciate you getting back to me and explaining the confusion, however; my toes still don't glow like I thought it would and I wasted time I don't get back.
