First of all, the trail head is located at the corner of Livingston Ave and Judson st, the gps had us arrive at a random rec center 3 blocks away which was super confusing. When we finally got to the trail we were very impressed, the trail started out great, until we got to the fork that circles the lake. First we went right but didn’t get very far because a tree had fallen onto the path and blocked it completely. So we double backed and went left, there the trail was all ripped up from someone driving over it. The tires left huge tracks, uneven terrain, and it was perpetually muddy. Read moreThe place is beautiful. Very romantic. Although, it is very close from the Urban area of Albany, NY it is a very quiet. It was recently renovated. The walking trail are very nice. There is ,also, a bumpy mountain bike trail for those, like me, that like enjoy the outdoors. The lake is not that big but it shelter a good variety of fishes.
