This has taken me a while but I am finally ready to share my experience in the NP program. Prior to this my experience at SAGE was positive. As a student in the NP program I was spoken about but never spoken to by the department chair. She NEVER offered assistance or suggestions for my potential success instead discussed my potential failure at the door of the classroom with another colleague. Really ladies how unprofessional. I worked extremely hard during my time at Sage, academics were always a challenge. It was not until I was unsuccessful at this juncture that I was diagnosed with dyslexia. So while your professionalism had a very negative impact on my feelings of self-esteem they lead me to a discovery that changed my future. Got injured playing on one of the men’s team and the trainers did not help me with my injury in anyway, shape, or form, an injury that required surgery btw, then they refused to pay for the physical therapy I went somewhere else to seek because they wouldn’t help me. The school itself is terrible, old ran down buildings with no air conditioning, the president of the college flys in on his helicopter while everyone else is getting charged 6$ for mandarin oranges and can only order one thing on the menu😂this school is the biggest joke and probably one of the worst schools in the country. Read moreIf I could give 0 stars, I would. The art department at Sage is a mess with teachers who have ego problems and are biased. They don't encourage students; they just cuss or make fun of them, the students pick up the vibe and treat you horribly, too. Not to mention that you learn incorrect ways for mediums. Everyone is expected to chip in and help, and if you can’t, you're a jerk. Where are the successful Sage alumni who studied Art and Extended Media?
