The worst pawn shop in auburn. There hours are wrong .. today is Saturday. There hours on the door say 11am-6pm. I called the owner bc it was 12:30 pm and it was STILL closed. She said “we should be open by 2:30pm. We waited.. ran some errands and came back at 2:30pm to find they were still not open. They ACTUALLY ended up opening at 3:30pm. When we got inside it was a mess.. barely walkable.. which we actually don’t mind bc it is a pawn shop of course! We started shopping and the male owner (I believe his name was John) was EXTREMELY rude. And if you ask a question he will give you nothing but attitude. If I could give zero stars I would. We left without buying anything even after waiting for hours and seeing what we wanted right through the window. Will not be returning and I don’t recommend you going there if your looking to leave in a good mood.

Upsides- guy was pleasant, polite, helpful and there was no pressure or uncomfortable looming or looking over your shoulder behavior. He was willing to bargain with prices and was flexible when buying many items. There was a large assortment of odds and ends, if you're looking for unique pieces not found anywhere else, this is the place to check.

Downsides- It was very disorganized, things were piled in boxes and scattered around shelves and counters with no particular order to them. This could be a good thing if you like the treasure hunt aspect of looking through things and finding something valuable you think someone might have missed. There was a strong smell of cigarettes, he was outside the door smoking some of the time we were there. Some of the prices seemed expensive and some cheap, but like I said earlier he was very flexible...

A gem of a place! Saw something I'd been looking for for a long time in their front window. The owners were so nice and really helpful, no pressure whatsoever. Really enjoyed browsing - discovered they have more rooms in the back. It's nostalgic! Found a great old cherry bed tucked against the wall. It now looks fabulous in my guest bedroom.
