I went on the tour here with my wife, two friends, and their children. It was excellent, the guide gave an intelligent overview, answered questions (including a doozy about the composition the Case Lightbulb's filament), involved the children and all of us with hands on activities, and, best of all, allowed my nerdy self to move close enough to see the title of the books on Case's bookshelf in the workshop. Read moreThis museum was great! You can tell that the staff really cares about the history and making this museum a popular destination. The curator that have us a tour of the Case laboratory was charming and enthusiastic, you can tell he loves educating people and conveying the rich history of Auburn. They stayed open late for us to look at the second floor - the staff was amazing and did not...

The permanent exhibit about the Auburn prison boasts many interesting artifacts. And the Carriage House Theater boasts wonderful performances from regional artists. I highly recommend a visit, and please consider...
